My self-summary
I'm down to earth and straightforward. I've sort-of always felt like one of the guys. I prefer few close friends to many loose friends. I'm a planner and love when others are too. It makes me think that they are thoughtful and considerate.

I am usually on-the-go: climbing, mountaineering, hiking, walking, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, etc. I LOVE being outdoors, especially in a remote, beautiful place. I also cherish my chill, snuggle up and watch a movie at home nights. Slow mornings/afternoons in bed are good too. Balance is important.

Wastefulness makes me angry. Not much else, except for just missing a BART train. For some reason that really gets my goat. If you see someone running onto your train, out of breath, frantically stripping down to a tank top and beginning to sweat profusely, say hello. Well, give me a second to collect. I likely just sprinted 6 blocks to avoid waiting for the next one.

I am super affectionate. I think that yoga is awesome. I usually think bad jokes are hilarious. A good vocabulary is definitely sexy. I try to be healthy. Simple things make me happy.
What I’m doing with my life
I work with college students and I enjoy it very much. They inspire me, challenge me and make me laugh. I hope to be good company to them during their time in school and even beyond. The connections I make with them mean a lot to me.
I spend my free time playing outside, dreaming of travel and hanging out with friends. I'm also interested in doing a yoga teacher training within the next 2 years.
I’m really good at
1. Eating treats
2. Finishing other people's food (I love to try a little bit of everything, and I can't stand to waste it if they aren't going to finish....sometimes it's a little tricky ascertaining if they ARE finished or not without seeming too interested)
3. Walking
4. Admiring nature
5. Separating garbage, recycling and compost
6. Finding lost things
7. Being understanding
The first things people usually notice about me
Huge smile. Attentive eye contact.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These lists are general likes or current trends. I'm not fond of picking favorites.

Last 3 good books I've read: The Art of Fielding (Chad Harbach), The Center Cannot Hold (Elyn Saks), Blankets (Craig Thompson)

Older movies I enjoy: To Kill a Mockingbird, Charade, The Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting

Shows: Don't have cable or watch TV regularly. But, every now and then I watch these on my computer. The Daily Show, Colbert Report, 30 Rock, New Girl.

Music: Mumford and Sons, Cults, Modest Mouse, Matt Flinner, Simon and Garfunkel, Mason Jennings, Iron and Wine, The Flaming Lips, Ween, The Magnetic Fields, David Byrne, Selena, MGMT, The Fugees, Sublime, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell

Food: Like to try everything. Sushi anytime. Love veggies. Don't love super spicy (although some people think Korean food is spicy and I think I'm immune to its spice, possibly because I grew up on it) because I feel like I can't taste the food and it also hurts my tummy. Yeah, I'm soft. My favorite foods, since I was 5, are ribs (only super tender, fall-off-the bone, probably braised) and ice cream. ICE CREAM! Don't eat too much meat in general though. I adore treats. Don't like sugary candy, but chocolate, ripe fruit, cheese and nuts are where it's at for me. Yup, I said nuts.
The six things I could never do without
Respect
Hugs/Warmth
Fresh Air (being outdoors, especially in the mountains)

Spring
Flip-flops
I spend a lot of time thinking about

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm open to talking about anything.

You do what you say and you say what you mean. You are smart but don't feel the need to prove it. And you are sweet. You know how to treat others, a lady, and someone who potentially could be amazingly kind to you.
