My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Artist, music obsessed animal lover, explorer, entrepreneur, gallivant-er and also an expert in tomfoolery.

*It seems like I should clarify this, I'm not looking to date a couple. I'm not looking for a poly situation or to just hook up. I don't get on here very often so if it takes me a couple/few weeks to reply please don't take it personally. Also if you are young enough to be my child or old enough to be my parent chances are we won't be a match. One last thing, if you don't like your women curvy, strong, funny, articulate and opinionated then I'm probably not the one for you ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Creating art in a myriad of disciplines, working at a university in research grant management, going on roadtrips and building a small creative business.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hunting coffee, researching any old thing, spending an hour or two of each day wandering the streets and parks with my dog, creating beauty and nonsense, tests, reading until the sun comes up, getting dusty in the desert, math, enjoying a week in a tent, dancing in the street and keeping plants alive.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Redhead, straightforward with a dash of potty mouth, bespectacled and usually with a large yellow love hound tied to my arm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Oy, that's a lot to fit in one box.

First favorite book that comes to mind: Wind Up Bird Chronicles - Haruki Murakami. Other authors I love: Julio Cortazar, Karen Finley, Kobo Abe, Sarah Waters, Paul Bowles, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jeanette Winterson, Edmund White, Ian McEwan, Alice Munro, Camus, Sartre and Hesse.

Filmmakers that amaze: Atom Egoyan, Hal Hartley, Mike Figgis, Krzysztof Kieislowski, Alison Anders, Wong Kar Wai, Tom DiCillo, Jim Jarmusch, Sofia Coppola, Richard Linklater, Tran Anh Hung, Gus Van Sant, Coen brothers, Christopher Nolan, David Lynch and Wim Wenders.

Endlessly happy making music: Throwing Muses, Galaxie 500, De La Soul, Sebadoh, Lester Young, Boss Hog, Joy Division, Slowdazzle, Team Dresch, Nick Cave, Afghan Whigs, Cibo Matto, Yo La Tengo, A Tribe Called Quest, Fugazi, Grizzly Bear, Meat Beat Manifesto, Holly Golightly, Charlie Parker, Spinanes, Pop Will Eat Itself, Lovage, Mirah to name a couple.

Shows...I'll just admit now that I am in love with Dexter. I mean it, we're going to have a little avenging vigilante love child. But really I also love Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad, United States of Tara, Weeds, True Blood (for being so deranged I never thought it would be made anywhere), Party Down, Intelligence and 30 Rock.

Food, well I am not that picky, Thai rocks, sushi is fabulous, Italian makes me happy, Indian and Mexican are also enjoyable...and chocolate is its own food group.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from that whole water, shelter, sustenance thing...I would go with coffee, luna, nature, passion, chocolate and art.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, traveling, creativity, goals, recent sources of inspiration, what to eat, how to make luna happy, along with trying to remember to take some time to quiet my mind and take a break from the endless inner dialogue.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Let's see, last Friday, I walked a couple of miles with luna to MudBay so she could pick out a bone, she was joyous being at the dog store, I was happily listening to music and enjoying the sights of the neighborhood. The Friday before that I took her to the neighborhood pub, she socialized, we shared a beer, I chatted with some people I hadn't known before and enjoyed a delectable sandwich. Some Fridays I'm out with friends and others stay in watching a movie and reading. Typical stuff. Unless I'm in the desert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm kind of an open book, it's in my nature, so just ask; but I'm not an open book for everyone on the internet.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are driven, passionate and kind. You do not let your fears run your life. You are open and know that is the only way to live. You have something in life you want badly and are working hard toward that goal. You are compassionate and don't mind fur on your clothes. You love to play in the woods and take chances.
