Obviously I'll fill this in with something wonderfully witty soon, but for now the basics would be:

Currently in a poly relationship with a guy(owenblacker), who I'm happily married to. Looking to meet new people, make friends, open to the idea of more (and apparently sounding quite like a cliche...)

I over use punctuation, and rarely use the right grammar. If corrected I'll more than likely do it more, on purpose. I guess I'm quite contrary...

I'm more than a little geeky to the average person, but coast by using GUIs for most of it (and if that bit makes no sense, then I'm *really* geeky from your perspective)

Attempting to organise my, my husband's and our various partner's/close friends lives in order to spend more time together mostly. Effectively I'm a housewife, but I prefer to think of it as I'm a PA who also happens to clean.

With almost immaculate timing I stopped paid work a few months before I damaged my back, so I'm currently walking with a stick (and occasionally hobbling). - Awesome update; rarely using the stick now! WOO! Though do still have to take it easy, no speed walking

We have 3 cats and I don't think I actually own anything now that isn't graced with at least a small amount of cat hair. If you show even a slight interest in cute cats I will bombard you with 3 billion pictures of them looking adorable, so you should probably mean it...

Meaning to reply to messages but actually taking forever to do it; Procrastination in general; Knitting/being creative; Cooking (though quite bad at being cooked for); Organising (I'm a natural librarian, ever so slightly OCD about it)

If I'm in public, it's usually that I'm knitting. Knitting in public tends to hypnotise people, it's amusing and bemusing in equal amounts

Books: The Handmaid's tale; Oranges are not the only fruit; All my friends are superheroes; I own many more books than I'll ever read, now I don't commute my reading time has dropped drastically

Movies: Chasing Amy; most other Kevin Smith (yes, even Jersey Girl); Most Pixar movies (total sucker for WALL-E); Casablanca ;Really enjoying some classics at the moment, we're working our way through the IMDB 250 and there are some great (and not so) ones on there.

Music: Seriously changes according to my mood. I'll listen to sugar-pop, classical, Emo (the actual Emo-punk type), General Rock and most genres to be honest. I rarely enjoy 'yooth' music, with a few exceptions I don't do R&B or dance.

Food: oh boy... I love the idea of many foods, but I'm also a really fussy eater. I'm relatively good at adapting around this mind you, just don't expect me to eat blindfolded!
