The most important aspect of my life is my relationship with my Creator. I don't just belong to a religion called Christianity--I belong wholeheartedly (though sometimes begrudgingly) to God. He sometimes has to drag me through things kicking and screaming, but even when I'm fighting to get away, he still holds me in the palm of his hand.

I'm not the sort of person you can look at and comprehend in once glance-in vacationing terms I'm more of a year-long excursion than a day-trip to the amusement park. Some people like an afternoon thrill, and some people like to explore and enjoy. Both are fine, but when it comes to me, prepare to get immersed.

I am pragmatic, inventive, and compassionate

Right now I'm going to GCSU to get my Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Secondary English Education. I'm currently looking for a job teaching high school and musing about going on to get my M.F.A. in Creative Writing in the near future.

Apart from all that, I spend a lot of my time doing fun geeky things like playing video games, table-top RPGs, and doing things with an amazing group of Star Wars fans known as the Macon Clones. When I'm not impersonating a basement-dweller, I love spending time outdoors (gardening, frisbee golf, etc) and crafting.

My sister tells me I'm obligated to let you know I'm an excellent Spam-carver. I have won two Spam-carving competitions, both with arks. One was Noah's Ark and the other was the Ark of the Covenant. If you ever need a potted-meat sculpture of a Biblical nature, let me know. I'm your girl.

I asked a friend for advice on this, and he said the first things he noticed about me were that I had long hair, green eyes, and a whimsical look, which he later modified to "hippyesque." I think I like whimsical better. It's one of my favorite words.

I told him they couldn't all be about looks, so he said at first I don't seem as interesting as I really am, and that I seem light-hearted and easy-going. So there you have it.

I've noticed that people's first impressions of me seem to be that I'm nice and I'm quiet, which are sometimes, but not necessarily always, true.

Well, it really depends. Sometimes I just hang out around the house and read or play video games, but sometimes I go out with my friends and do various friendly type things.

I've been known to joyfully exploit my "quiet" reputation to get away with some pretty awesome practical jokes. Maybe I'll tell you about them sometime...being labeled "shy" is great...it's almost like an invisibility cloak.

I also have involved, two "person" dialogues with myself quite often. Myself and me have epic arguments. I usually win.
