Good health is something I think about a lot and I enjoy finding "new" foods or activities. I have a kombucha mother, water kefir grains and I do Tai Chi during the week. I read Born to Run and it completely inspired me to stick with running and mostly I enjoy doing it, so often you will find me running with the lake Merritt joggers and striders - every fourth Sunday.
I think it is beautiful when a person's religion or spirituality gives her/him joy and happiness. Unfortunately I have met a lot of people where religion is a way to say, "I am right and you are wrong." I don't have the answers for you only me. I was born into Christianity it is what I know the best, but white Jesus and the intense sexism are two things on a long list that I find upsetting and I have a hard time believing that is the answer for everyone. I think religion is very personal and my experience with God on the days I am sure she exists is changing and hard to put into words.
