Your Notes
Edit your notesI am quirky, sarcastic, and awkward.
My Self-Summary
I'm a bit of a nerd, I enjoy school, going to renaissance festivals, and have met some of the best people in books. I'd rather stay home and play games than go out.
I'm sarcastic, can be a little bitchy, and am occasionally pessimistic. I'm also totally socially awkward, and the combination of all of that makes some people not want to get to know me.
I have some health problems, but I try not to let them control me.
I'm originally from Michigan (Macomb County), and go back fairly often to visit family and friends. I'd love to go back and work at Greenfield Village after graduation, we'll see.
I don't fit into a lot of the lesbian sterotypes. I eat meat, am not particularly found of cats, I like dressing up and wearing make up even if I don't do it often, I love having long hair.
I don't take life very seriously, and I live day to day for the most part. My current plan is to graduate, after that who knows? Perhaps Disney?
I dislike talking/writing about myself because I change frequently, and don't want someone to get the wrong idea just because I didn't mention a part of me they might like. Let me know if you want to know more.
Unless you are my parents (who don't have accounts on here, so you're not) I am not your baby, or any alternative thereof.
What I’m doing with my life
Changing my mind about what I want to do every few minutes.
Getting all fired up at 9am on Fridays in my Women's Health Care Issues class. Angry lesbian feminists FTW.
I’m really good at
I've been told I'm good at listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music: Amanda Palmer, Tegan and Sara, The Dresden Dolls, Musicals, Evanescence. I like a bunch of random individual songs, not necessarily an artist or album.
Movies: I'm not too picky, and will watch pretty much anything once. Not fascinated with horror/gore/zombie movies, or entertained by stupidity like Borat. If Keira Knightley's in it I'll probably like it.
TV: I still enjoy the 90s family sitcoms, and miss the old nick at nite line up. I watch more food network than is good for me, proof: I've dreamed about cupcakes. Medium is probably my favorite show, and I'm sad that it's changed days. Law and Order:SVU never fails to entertain, nor does Intervention. I also like the documentary type shows on TLC and A&E, especially focusing on mental health.
Food: Picky eater here. I stick to my basics, and love pretty much any comfort food. Give me some sort of lasagna/stuffed shells/manicotti and I'm set for life.
The six things I could never do without
- Theatre. It's possibly the only thing I've stayed interested in my entire life, plus I've made it my life.
- Sleep. Less than 8 hours and I'm not a pleasant creature.
- Books. My escape from reality.
- Medication. If that's a problem for you, don't bother.
- To-do lists. If I don't write it down, it doesn't get done.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I watch Spongebob. Often.
You should message me if
If you want a zoo/museum visiting buddy (I feel weird going alone).
If you can teach me how to knit. Seriously.
Note: If you're going to use text/internet speak and intentionally spell things wrong (luv, 2nite, cuz, etc.), don't bother. I can't spell to save my life, and I'm not some grammar nazi, but if you can't be bothered to type a few extra letters I'm probably not going to respond.
