My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there! How's it going? I'm back after being offline for 6 months. So yeah. Hey. I should probably update my paragraphs below, but I'll do it later. If you wanna say hi, do it. I'll probably say hi back, especially if you're cute. :P

I'm also becoming increasingly surprised at how many people use a picture of their cat as their main picture. Like, why?

Also, I'm fairly firm on my age range. I just don't feel comfortable engaging with somebody significantly younger or older than me, especially if you're 10+ years older than me. I'm sorry if that offends you, but honestly if it does then you're probably too old or young for me anyway. :P

--- --- ---

So I'm just going to be straight up. I like interesting people. I get overly enthusiastic about things that excite me, and I tend to throw myself wholeheartedly into things that are important to me. I love to laugh (though most jokes I myself tell are pretty terrible). I'm terrible at being on time for things, so you'll have to have a little patience with me on that front. I'm color-oriented synesthetic, which is pretty neat. I'm an ISFP, I think. It's been a while since I took the test, but that sounds right.

Above all, I'm always straightforward and honest, and I am looking for people who are the same way. If I'm going to have to pry your honest opinions out of you, we probably won't get along too well. Anyway, if there's anything else you want to know about me, ask it straight up and I'll probably answer. Cool.

Also, just as a heads up, my name isn't Jen. I am beginning to regret choosing this username.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from a liberal arts school in Tacoma with a double-major in Philosophy and Studio Art. I recently found employment at a garden store here in Woodinville while work on a Digital Design certificate at a technical college nearby.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making those sorts of plans to do something sometime and always talking about it whenever you see that person, but never actually doing it. Describing things in really weird but totally accurate ways. Collecting blankets/pillows on my already overstuffed bed. Eating odd things for breakfast. Picking out presents for people.

Clicking on and liking people's profiles on here but never messaging them, despite telling myself "hey, you should message them." Eventually messaging people and then not getting an answer.

This one time I responded to my own message, mistakenly believing they had sent it to me. It was an awkward situation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have kind of a presence-- I'm tall for a lady, I have big, colorful hair, I usually dress pretty colorfully, and I have a loud voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
None of these are in any order, and by no means an all-inclusive list.

-The Gospel According to Larry (it's not what you think it is)
-Looking for Alaska

-Rock of Ages
-Oceans 11, 12, & 13
-The Sting
-Spirited Away (and most other Miyazaki)

-Arrested Development
-Orange is the New Black (which doesn't come back until 2016, sadly)

Music is too complicated to try and list for the moment. I'll come back to this.

Food (I'm going for categories here):
-Anything with potatoes (because, let's face it, they're delicious.)
-Pizza (but I mean, who doesn't like pizza?)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1) Color
2) A creative outlet
3) Yummy food
4) My phone, or other means of contact
5) My dog
6) Cold water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random things, mostly. Some philosophical, others nonsensical. Like, who decided that pink was the color bubblegum should be? Who names the random little parts of things like the plastic on the ends of shoelaces or the metal bits on pencils, and how can I get that job? Why do some sounds require two letters to spell them; why can't they just get their own letter? Ultimately, what is the point of freedom? How am I aware of my awareness? If you also think like this, or have an answer to any of these questions, we should chat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably just kickin' it. Honestly, out in Woodinville there isn't a ton to do.

Also, I've been wanting to watch Rent for like 3 years now, but I have yet to find someone willing to watch it with me. If you would be willing to do so, and would actually enjoy it, hit me up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I scare really easily. It's why I can't do horror movies. I'll be jumpy and nervous for hours afterwards.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like people who laugh a lot. Like, a lot. Or if you think my blue hair is cool. Maybe you like staring at the stars and feeling small or staring at the grass and feeling big. Tell me the coolest place you've ever been or the best sensation you've ever felt or the last time you felt completely alive.

Hell, I mean, just message me. I'll probably answer, especially if you give me something more than a "hey ;)" Show me you have something to say, I dare you.
