I am happy, grounded, and mischievous.
My Self-Summary
This is the bit that I don't like, having to sell myself, aah. My
name is Joseph, but you can call me Joe, in fact, I think that I
would prefer that.
I am 20 years old & live in North London. I am originally from
Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham but moved to London to study, work
and and am currently enjoying every minute of it.
I'm easy to get along, strike up a conversation with me about
something that I'm passionate about & I will chew your ear off,
you'll probably end up regretting starting that conversation in the
first place, but oh well, life is short.
Buy me a cider & black and I will be your friend for life. I am
easily pleased, as you've probably just guessed (you were quite
right too).
The worst job that I have ever had was working 9-5 in an office
& since the day that I have left, I have vowed to never work in
one again, as much as I can help it.
I think that train journeys that take longer than an hour are the
best place to think & re-assess things. If you're listening to
music & just staring out of the window aimlessly, I think that
there is no better place to be with your thoughts
What I’m doing with my life
I am studying
Journalism &
English at Goldsmiths, & I hope
that it lasts as I have a tendency to change my opinion on what I
want to do every ten minutes, so i'll probably end up changing this
to 'I'm doing a business degree' in like a month, I hope not
though, as I am terrible at Business.
After much deciding, I know that I would like to be a film
journalist as I love nothing more than to watch films. I believe it
to be one of the top five ways to spend my time
I’m really good at
I'm good at making people laugh, whether they want to or not. I am
also good at putting into words exactly how I feel
The first things people usually notice about me
My extremely curly hair? Yeah, that or my enormous grin!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to
read &
have quite an eclectic taste. I am currently reading The Picture of
Dorian Gray (I watched the film first, I'm a terrible person, I
know) I do not care about admitting that I love the Twilight Saga
which has completely ruined my expectations of love, but it was
worth it. I also love Harry Potter, most books by George Orwell
(1984 being my favourite), High Fidelity & The Virgin Suicides
to name a few.
Films, aren't they great? A few that I have particularly enjoyed
are;
Twilight,
The Royal
Tenenbaums,
Garden State,
P.S, I love you,
The Usual
Suspects, Death Becomes Her, True Romance, Sin City &
50 First
Dates.
I love my
music a
lot, I don't really have much preference of genres anymore. I am
currently loving
Grizzly Bear,
Muse,
Elvis &
Weezer, alot!
The six things I could never do without
Six things that I could never do without? I can tell you that six
things that I would rather not do without would include; marlboro
lights, cider, my phone, music, books & skiing.
Six things that I could never do without is a really hard one
though, I would have to include family & friends & some
other stuff that will blates make me sound well soppy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My plans for the future, but that is more worrying than thinking.
What my plans are for the coming weeks & I how long I can put
off starting my revision until I really, REALLY have to. I love to
think about travelling as well, I very much enjoy getting away as
much as I can.
On a typical Friday night I am
It can completely depend, it ranges from; staying in watching
Jonathon Ross, eating out with friends, spending my time in the
dingiest of North London's pubs or going to see a band/watching a
film
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm an open book. Although, that is not that much of a private
thing!
You should message me if
You're a good egg & have interesting or nice things to say
