Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have no idea how to fill these out but here it goes.
My name is Jeremy, I am fairly laid back, and like to hang out with
friends at home about as much as I like going out.
I got my B.S.degree in computer engineering and computer science
I own my own home and have found it interesting dealing with all
the challenges involved therein.
I am a fairly large movie buff I worked at a studio for a while and
got a great deal on movies so i built up quite a collection. I
enjoy playing video games but primarily to pass time more than
anything else. I am also an avid reader but don't read nearly as
much as I used to.
I enjoy most outdoor activities as an amateur. The only sport I
played competitively is swimming but I don't compete these
Other than that feel free to ask me anything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am working as a computer programmer, attending/helping out at my
church, and attempting to figure out how to better live by God's
plan for my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Competitive Swimming, cooking, most Wii games, giving amateur
massages, procrastinating, and I'll fill the rest of this in later.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really have no idea. I haven't ever heard anything consistent. It
really depends what we are doing when we meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Most things by Dean Koonz, Night Angel trilogy, Dresden series, or
just about any interesting fiction. Harry Potter Series, Hunger
Games series. The Sigma Novels by James Rollins.
I tend to prefer comedies or action movies as I feel they have a
better replay value. Though I do enjoy a well done drama or horror
flick as well (not a gorefest something that builds the atmosphere
I dont really watch network TV anymore but enjoy watching other
station retuns or my own copies of the seasons for: how I met your
mother, Big Bang theory, fringe(its over now but I liked most of
it), friends, and many others.
Really it just depends on the song I like a good strong beat with
lyrics that are fun.
Some bands I particularly enjoy are Linkin Park (older stuff the
latest isn't that great) and Rise Against. Other than those its
usually just a mix of stuff I downloaded after hearing it on the
I'm open to trying just about anything once, don't really care for
Sushi or Vegan/vegitarian fare though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The essentials (food, water, clothing, shelter, air, God,
Smart phone (how did we live without the internet at our
Some form of water based recreation (swimming, hot tubbing,
snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I am still single. No seriously it used to be a self pity thing
but now it's an attempt to understand what God wants me to learn
before he thinks I am ready to meet that special someone.
Also what does it mean when someone's profile says they are
agnostic and serious about it? To my understanding Agnostic belief
is that there may or may not be a deity. Being serious about this
strikes me as if someone said, "I don't know the answer to that
question and I am serious about that lack of knowledge". Maybe it
just doesn't mesh with the way my brain works.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately I have been going to a friends house where we have dinner
hit the jacuzzi for a bit then watch a movie most nights. Sometimes
we change it up a bit but that's the normal Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I recently went on a church retreat and felt that I needed to
refine my dating practices as a result. I now have three rules of
1.) I am not having sex until I get married.
2.) I don't want to kiss until we have gone out on at least four
dates or for one month after we met in person.
3.) I don't want to do anything more than kiss until I am
I have reasons for all of these and am happy to discuss them if you
would like but will not change my stance and would like you to
actively hold me to the second two if we do go out as they are

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I suppose I should list my deal breakers here. I am looking to date
to find the woman I want to marry so would prefer if someone has
either the same outlook on dating or at least feels that they are
open to getting married within a year or two. Along that line when
I get married I want someone that shares my faith and to that end
am not willing to date anyone that is not only a Christian but is
also working to live by their faith, feel free to ask me to clarify
if you would like.
Also I'm fine trading messages for while but I figure you have to
meet someone to really get to know them. So if I ask to meet in
person and you think its too soon just tell me and I don't mind, I
just prefer to meet and see if we actually have any chemistry
sooner rather than later.
Lastly if you notice an inconsistency about the way I answered some
of the questions in the Q&A there is a reason I just don't feel
this is the right spot to address it (if you know what I am talking
about you probably know why). If you are curious feel free to ask
