I really don't think I can summarize myself so easily. I will use famous people who I am sometimes compared with. Think Woody Allen, crossed with Jerry Seinfeld, meets Ferris Bueller. I am somewhat nostalgic and more nerdy than "nerd cool".

I started in grad school, ended up in law school and eventually decided the white collar 9 to 5 world was not for me (not sure I would want to meet the person it actually is for). Now starting my own business and feeling much more balanced, although sleeping less.

I have honestly never lost a game of trivial pursuit. I am annoyingly proud about that. I am good at talking to random people at bars, giving people funny nicknames, doing the electric slide at weddings, impersonating a british accent, and climbing trees.

Hmm...average height, average build white guy here. I can always blend in....works great sneaking into weddings and bar mitzvahs. Often I resemble your crazy friend from high school.

The best way to describe my taste in things is that I like things that are either very high brow or low brow, and I hate middle brow. Love the opera, ballet, pbs miniseries, victorian literature, and cooking. Also love trashy reality tv and certain fast food. By middle brow I guess I mean things like the Da Vinci code and Diane Lane movies. I have eclectic taste in things...sometimes I am convinced I am the only person in the world flipping between two random things on tv (e.g. english soccer and project runway). I enjoy old movies. Oh, and I loved the shows Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, pretty much anything produced by the BBC, and Mad Men. My musical taste is too varied and idiosyncratic to get into in this box.

I am definitely less political than the average dc-ite, but I do think a lot about the larger world. I am usually planning my next travel adventure or ruminating on some new business concept. I have been working on a screenplay for a while, one day that might actually happen...

Out with friends, in the winter I am often at a hockey game. Usually I do at least a stop by at my neighborhood bar. It is like Cheers, except with more hipsters.
