I moved out to Los Angeles eight years ago from Maine after completing a two year film school degree (from a school that no longer exists yet still takes my money). It's been great living where I don't have to shovel snow and rake leaves - though I do miss the change of seasons.

I'm a really out-going person and I can turn even the most mundane situations into something fun - if I have to be doing it, I'm going to have fun damn it! I'd rather go out then stay at home... most of the time.

I enjoy a good hike, a day at the beach, running, watching movies (old, new, whatever, I just love movies). I like exploring new places and trying new things.

I'm also pessimistically optimistic about life. If you knew me, you'd understand.

Managing a movie theater to pay the bills. I also love movies. I definitely don't do it because I love people..... Working on some side projects in film and television.

Running - Did the LA Marathon last year... was going to go again this year, but it's so damn expensive. So, I've settled for the random 5k's and tough mudders (this April!)

Volunteering - it's really important to me.

Exploring LA.

Editing, writing, talking about movies. Making people laugh, forcing them to have a good time, and being completely self-depricating.

Being extremely witty and sarcastic. And rolling my eyes. And making fun of you. If I don't make fun of you, it means I don't like you - it's how I show affection.

I'm a really fast talker.

Movies: Lawrence of Arabia, American Beauty, Silence of the Lambs, Into the Wild, Slumdog Millionaire, Ben-Hur, Braveheart, The Lord of the Rings, Cabaret, West Side Story, Aladdin, Oldboy, The Princess Bride, Bonnie and Clyde, Bridge on the River Kwai, Master and Commander, Good Morning, Vietnam, Memento, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Rear Window, Psycho, Attack the Block, The Hurt Locker, The Searchers, Young Frankenstein.... The list goes on forever.

TV: Breaking Bad, Girls, Parks and Rec, Community, The Office (UK), The Office (US, but only seasons 1-3), Extras, Veep, Newsroom, The West Wing, Homeland, Enlightened, Summer Heights High, Flight of the Concords, Archer, Bill Maher, Daily Show, Modern Family, Fawlty Towers, Skins (UK), Sherlock, Game of Thrones. Finally started The Walking Dead - I think season 1 is deeply flawed and frustrating. However, I am enjoying season 2.

Books: Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Neverwhere, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Wheel of Time Series........

Music: U2, Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dispatch, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Mumford & Sons, The Airborne Toxic Event, Bright Eyes, Elliot Smith, Childish Gambino, Fun., Imagine Dragons, Incubus, State Radio, The Black Keys, Jack White... Would love for someone to show me some new music :)

Food: A lot. Specifically anything with cheese.

1. Movies/movie theaters (and NOT because it's my job)
2. Any Apple product (yup, I drink the Kool-Aid)
3. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (you know you're special if I share them)

Traveling. I would really like to start traveling.

Also, why has Dunkin' Donuts not ventured farther west. This is a seriously missed opportunity. And I want my damn Dunkin' Donuts coffee.

Unfortunately working :/ Just the type of job I have.

But, if I have the night off, I'm with friends - either catch a movie or hit up a bar (no clubbing though...) Someplace with live music is cool. Or, whatever people have in mind. I'm open.
