My self-summary
Hum, so here is the pitch:
Arrived in US about 1 year ago from France. lively, friendly, happy, curious and many other things.
I like: reading, writing, singing, dancing, hiking, ww backpacker trips, camping, spending time with friends for long deep discussions or just for fun, playing, going out, looking the clouds. I like outdoor activities but also a lot urban activities and everything about culture and creation.
I dislike: excessive materialism, seeing only one side of the stories, dogs (shall I admit that in this city? Still I can handle a few minutes), describing myself on website and writing how much super intelligent, fun etc I am.
I usually find fun & surprising things anywhere - this is a residue of having been a clown for a while - and can be very spontaneous and adventurous.
Add a bit of irony and you may have some first taste

I travelled a few, for backpacking trips and also for work, and lived in several countries. Although travelling is important to me, I value being well in the present where I am and in my shoes and I am not one of those persons always "somewhere else".

I value open-mindness and tolerance a lot. I like to accept the complexity of things, understanding it and making my way through it.

I am also looking for friends (yes!).

I am one of those guys who on rare occasions (but still) is capable of arriving at work with two different shoes. Yes it happened this week. Damned. But funny, finally.
What I’m doing with my life
I am here as an expat. Currently I am looking ahead for diversity and change, probably more focused on human/social side, or more independent. Work is exciting but I am not a workaholic and looking for lower pace and having more time for learning and creative things.

I do not have any TV since long.
I’m really good at
Listening people, having an opinion on everyhing, seeing light in the dark, convincing people, making you notice things you never thought about, playing, cooking bread while camping, being late, loosing my keys, sleeping anywhere, forgotting where I parked my car, deciding to go 300km away to sleep on a beach in the middle of the night (happened mostly in france), cooking a few specialties
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to read really a lot - a little less since I am in US. First thought would be Jose Saramago, Vassili Axionov, Salman Rushdie, Michel Folco, Vassily Grossman, Georges Orwell and then many many others I'd love to discuss.
Music: archive, moby, air, loch lommon, mildlake, brian eno, zero7, old folk (in France, much better than we think, especially for incredibly fun dance nights), world music.... etc etc
Food: no sure what to answer here I like cooking sweet things like cheese cake, clafoutis, apples pies, etc.
Movies: mostly independent stuff. 3 movies from the top of my head: Big Fish, Burn After Reading, Le Labyrinthe de Pan
The six things I could never do without
Friends and sharing
Good discussions and some fun

A bit of time alone
Some sense of absurdity that can really make life fun whatever happens
Books
Curiosity
Ok I stop there
On a typical Friday night I am
No real habit. Usually out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can recognize a bunch of bird songs.
What else?
