My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Immigrant to the US, in 1989 moved to Dallas TX. Spent my teen years stomping through creeks and hanging out with citybillies, playing with cars, and got a proper southern growing up experience. Began moving around to different cities throughout the US until in 2005 ended up in Los Angeles.
Today I like to rock climb, mountain climb, travel to climb, basically just climb. My favorite thing to do is head north to the Owens Valley and spend my time between Bishop and Mammoth. My idea of a trip to Las Vegas involves gazing at the strip from atop a mountain at Red Rock Canyon.
Despite my love for the outdoors, the city offers such wonderful interests and experiences such as culturally diverse populations and restaurants, museums, live theater, urban subcultures, and the list goes on and on. Its nice to be close to an international airport.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly i'm climbing, wether it be a mountain, a big wall, a crag, or a boulder, I just love to climb. I also like to just generally spend my time outside. Backpacking and snowboarding are also activities I enjoy.
In order to supplement my hobbies I find myself working as an audio engineer, a decorative painter, and even moonlight as a timing and scoring technician on the auto racing tracks of southern California.
When I can scrape enough change together, I like to treat myself to trips in far off destinations. In 2013 I was fortunate to spend an ample amount of time exploring Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Then later I was again fortunate to adventure my way through France and Spain for a few months. It is my goal to make 2015 a similar experience. Africa is high on my list of places to be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I am good at coaching people, specifically in outdoor sports and activities. Pretty good at accent emulation and identification. Fabrication and design. Writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You know, I've never asked. Is this something people usually know?
