I own my own pet related business and I work at one of our local Universities. Loving pets is a must for me of course (and for those cat haters, I will change your mind. Trust me). It took a lot of time for me to make this passion of mine come true and I am proud to be a business owner doing something that I love.
I'm laid back and easy going but I like to get out there and do something new. I like a night on the couch, but it can't be every night. I've to get out there stay active. I love where I live so I want to experience it all. I take 2-4 hot showers a day. I'm addicted to hot water.
I care deeply about others and try to volunteer when I can. I love going to WBUR events or lectures where I can learn about someone. I wear huge hoop earrings ( just big earrings in general. The bigger the better), love Tiny & Toya, and love hip hop but I also listen to NPR. Dinner isn't dinner unless it involves wine. Game night with friends is the best. I dream of hosting the best dinner parties in town. It's just a dream at this point :)
If you can fix things around the house, open jars for me, treat me like the lady I am, not be afraid of showing emotion, and will also play Dance Central & Rap Star with me on the Xbox, then this could work. You've got to be affectionate verbally and physically which means you have to not be afraid to show your feelings.
To be quite honest, I'm not looking for just a fling. If you are just looking to have sex and then never speak to me again, keep looking. That is not my thing at all. I'd like to actually find someone who makes me happy and I make them happy. I like a man who has a great relationship with his parents. Not one where you depend on parents for everything or can't make decisions on your own, but one of closeness and respect. Parents LOVE me and I love them. My parents are also important to me.
You have to treat a woman like a lady. Romance is good. Surprises are good. Just showing someone you care.
I love the idea of picnic although I rarely do it. I want to hike to a spot and whip out my fancy picnic basket. :)
I've recently traveled alone international and domestic for the first time and it was exhilarating.
