I am pedantic, imaginative, and steatopygic.

My Self-Summary

Hello there! My name's Jess (as I'm sure you assumed). I'm a bookseller (official title, thanks.) at a bookstore and, needless to say, I love literature. I read more than anyone I, and probably you, know and am constantly writing novels in my head. My favorite punctuation mark's the semi-colon, because it's amazing. I'm taking a break from school right now for various reasons but used to double major in psychology and English and am probably going to go back sometime soon for Secondary Education with a concentration in English.

Besides literature, I love music more than anything. I was a band geek in high school and played the flute (I've heard all of the jokes. Thanks.) and the cello. So basically I played the two most sexual instruments (flute for obvious phallic reasons and the cello because to play it you have you have your legs spread the entire time).

Hmm... I use "umm" as a filler quite often. My favourite colour's green. I'm a complete grammar snob. I like cute animals a lot and confuse people that know me by stopping to pet/talk to them. I love farmer's markets, flea markets and co-ops. I'm a complete nerd.

I'm a complete beer snob. My favorite styles are IPA and stout. My favorite beer that I've ever had, for something completely different, is Lindemann's Pomme (which is an apple lambic, in case you didn't know). I have an odd obsession with apple juice and I'm weird, so it kind of makes sense.
Now in French

What I’m doing with my life

reading like a madman, writing sometimes.

I’m really good at

-twirling the baton and other random objects
-guessing people's astrological signs
-listening to people and reading their moods
-picking out clothes for people
-crushing peoples' hopes and dreams, along with their souls.

The first things people usually notice about me

Hmm My glasses I suppose. A lot of people say I walk like a teacher, so maybe that. Or that I dress like someone from a different time period(pencil skirts and cardigans are a MUST). If they're viewing me sexually, well, one of my descriptors is steatopygic...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A)"Still Life with Woodpecker" Tom Robbins, "Death of a Salesman" Arthur Miller, "The Gospel According To Larry" by Janet Tashjian, "Pure Sunshine" by Brian James, "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky, "B is For Beer" by Tom Robbins, "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens, "Lamia Isabella and C." by John Keats, Poetry Anthologies,"I, Me, Mine" by George Harrison, "Interpreter Of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri,"Nine Stories" by J.D. The six things I could never do without

Besides the obvious:

1)the Earth under my feet 2)literature 3)really good music 4)freedom 5)someone to communicate with 6)fresh air

I spend a lot of time thinking about

random theories that i make up, religion, sex, what i could write about, what i want to do with my life, how other people's minds work and the human brain in general

On a typical Friday night I am

going on a random adventure. Or working.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm not really that private...hmm...well I'll say that I have some weird pet peeves, like no one can read one of my magazines before me.

You should message me if

you feel like it, and you have something to say to me other than "Hi! You're sexy. I like your (insert random physical trait here)."
