There's a lot I'd like to share about myself, but there's something to be said for learning about the nuances and idiosyncrasies about a person as you're getting to know them... this online format can be tricky for me to navigate since I'm more of a "feel the vibe" kinda gal... tough to do with a Mac... or PC =)

Right now I'm working as a bilingual school-based psychotherapist for underprivileged children and their families... it's hard, but rewarding work. The best part: everyday I get tons of hugs from adorable elementary school-aged kids; L-O-V-E IT!

I'm currently studying for my board exams, and I hope to have my own practice once I'm licensed and continue my community-based work... I need balance in all things.

Belly dancing! I started taking classes early this year and love it! I'm pretty good...now if I could only learn to shimmy with a snake around my shoulders--kidding! In general, I'm a pretty good dancer: what can I say? I got rhythm!

Acrylic painting. My next venture: to paint murals on the walls of my new basement--I can't wait!!!

My smile... I have *huge* dimples and usually it's the first thing folks who have never met me comment on... I smile big and have big dimples : ]

BOOKS: Time Traveler's Wife; The Prophet; Where The Wild Things Are; Nine Stories; Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs; The Female Brain; and LOTS of random psych stuff.

As per movies and music, well there are just too many titles and bands/musicians to name... concert promoters and theaters should thank me for my generous contributions! I love anything from chick-flicks, to indie films, docs, mafioso flicks (fogetaboutit!) and I'm a sucker for old horror movies... I heart HALLOWEEN...know practically every line by heart!

I love all types of food. Top 3: Sushi, Italian, Indian. It saddens me when I come across someone who refuses to try something new, especially when they've never tried it. Food is such a reflection of culture and tradition, and I love discovering new tastes and flavors that excite my taste buds!

Geez, I dunno... my friends, my music, my Mac, my phone, dogs, and ART!

How to get the most out of life. I try to not sweat the small stuff: yell, scream, cry, do what you gotta do and move on... live life to the fullest because you never really know how much time we've got left on this great planet of ours.

Out with friends, having dinner/cocktails, hanging out and contemplating whether to go dancing or hit up the karaoke bar ;)
