I'm a super fun person, with a smile on my face 90% of the time. I've got a great big group of friends, who I love, but that can make it difficult to meet new people sometimes.

When I'm not at work there is a strong chance I have my nose in a book or am writing. As a high energy person, there is also a strong chance that I'm hanging out with friends, entertaining at my place, at the gym or working out, or playing on the computer :)

During the spring and summer I love spending time outside. I'm a bit of a camping enthusiast, and also really enjoy fishing. The Bay Area is too beautiful not to go hiking; and I'm also training to run the Houston Marathon in January 2010 and the Pittsburgh Marathon in May 2010!

I'm probably not watching TV- I probably watch less than an hour a day, and that is usually as background.

My job is interesting, to say the least. I interview, film, edit and produce short clips of people talking about the books they've read for my company's website. It's great, as I get to meet a variety of people, and since I love to read it's an excellent fit. When I'm not doing that I work on web development and QA for the site.

Cooking, entertaining, making people laugh and I'm an excellent listener.

I'm a semi-amateur foodie, I no longer cook professionally but do have a degree in Culinary Arts and worked in the restaurant business for years. Now, when I cook and entertain it is because it makes me happy.

Probably the first thing people notice is my smile. Actually, my boobs. But they say my smile.

My absolute two favorite films are Breakfast at Tiffany's and Amelie. If I'm having a bad day I like to pop in Zoolander, because it always makes me laugh. I've got a soft spot for documentaries, foreign films, and classic movies.

Favorite books is a hard one to answer, as I'm a bookworm. I've got several very large, overflowing bookshelves stuffed with almost every genre book possible.

I also have to confess to being a bit of a sci-fi dork. There, I've said it. Also, I read lots of pop science books.

My music tastes are all over the place. A sampling of my favorite artists would include: Elvis Costello, Keller Williams, Nina Simone, Counting Crows, Yo La Tengo, Willie Nelson, Artie Shaw, Snoop Dogg. So, really a bit of everything! Hidden away in the list is my absolute favorite, completely dorky musical obsession.

Food- hmmm, that's hard to say since I love food, cooking and trying out new places and cuisines.

Moving to San Francisco. After years of being content in the East Bay, I caught the city bug a few months ago, and am planning on moving in the spring. So I'm trying to figure out what neighborhoods to look at, should I sell my car, etc. I'd love any advice, recommendations, etc anyone has to offer!

Catching up with my friends, most likely over a couple of beers! Also, like many other people, I too am plotting world domination.
