My self-summary
Originally from NY, I've been in DC for a year and a half now. I did my undergrad at a small liberal arts college in New England, and spent a year after graduation in the UK. In DC, I work for a startup and spend most of my time on Facebook (for my job). If I'm doing my job well, you've probably seen our articles showing up in your news feed. Not a bad gig.

I like sports, cooking, and people watching.
What I’m doing with my life
Living the startup life--each day is different from the last, work hard, play hard. I'm thinking about grad school down the road, but right now just enjoying DC.
I’m really good at
Making guacamole.

One-liners.

Hitting the snooze button.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty funny. I'll often make a joke that crosses the line, even if I don't know you that well. Usually it's fine...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Big Lebowski and Enemy of the State are my two favorite movies. I also really like all the James Bond films.

On TV, I like most of the shows you probably like. Mad Men, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad, throwbacks like The Wire and The Sopranos, and then weeknight shows like Always Sunny, The League, Archer, and Parks & Rec.

My music tastes are eclectic, but I'm mostly into hip hop.

I'm a sucker for a good mystery novel, though lately, a beer after work has felt a lot more attractive than a book (not super happy about that).

I could pretty much live off Indian food.
The six things I could never do without
Cast Iron Skillet
Netflix
Coffee
Contact lenses
The Onion
My Shake Weight (kidding. totally kidding. promise).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much money I'd need to make before I can quit working and open a restaurant. I really like cooking, and I hope one day to make that happen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading to my grandma.

Not really. Same as everyone else on here. Hanging out with friends, mostly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can wiggle my ears. Sometimes involuntarily.
