I'm an outgoing girl, full of paradoxes, looking for someone who cannot get enough of me. I won't leave the house without lipstick and think all flip flops should be recycled into something useful and far less grating on the nerves. I am a beer and food snob and can read menus for hours. I recently took up bellydancing because it sounded like fun. I am very active and love a good walk, but quite unathletic, so please don't expect me to catch any object thrown my way. I am a huge fan of Survivor and figure I think hard enough all day to justify mindless TV on some evenings. I am (strangely) enjoying amicable joint custody of my daughter and have re-learned how important doing things for yourself really is.

remembering long strings of useless numbers and an inordinate amount of song lyrics. I THINK I'm a good cook, but, being a vegetarian, I am always looking for a test subject for my meat dishes. And who knows if the ones that live are telling me the truth?

my glasses. Sad, huh? Then they notice my confidence, wit, and probably boobs. Also sad. :)

Books: I will read most anything but am drawn to fiction, as I read to relax. I try to throw in at least one classic, school-mandated book a year.

Movies: some faves are Dangerous Liaisons, Eve's Bayou, Waitress, The Magdalene Sisters. I love horror films and like a good documentary or subtitled film as well. Only a few more months to my next Oscar party!

Music: I firmly believe the point of music is to enjoy it, so I listen to a little of everything. That means that a song you like does not need to be musical genius! Fave artist is Ron Hawkins, which should show I am drawn to intelligent lyrics. Also love anything with harmonies, piano, and a good beat is a must.

Food: I am a huge foodie and a beer snob. Trust me, I will be the first to point out that Velveeta is neither cheese nor food. Indian food rocks and anything without 2 eyes and a mom can be delicious.
