I am driven and dedicated, witty and clever, and slightly off-balance.
My Self-Summary
Well, this is easy enough, right? 26 years old, going on 40 some
days, from the northeast coast of Florida. I'll let the other
questions answer more about me, but if you want to know something,
just ask!!!
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm a high school teacher. That's right, the next
generation is in my hands...
...I know, I'm scared too! :-)
Other than that, just trying to be a guy looking for a girl who is
worth the time. When I'm not reading essays or grading or preparing
for the next day (my students really are my life some days), I
really enjoy creative writing (ask about my screenplays), playing
sports (golf, tennis, basketball, football), relaxing with a good
book (just about anything, really), or enjoying a movie at home.
I’m really good at
Writing, or so I think. I'm working on it at least. Also really
good at organizing things. The club I sponsor at school always
depends on me to keep them organized and ready! There are other
things, but again, ask me! (I gotta give you an excuse to write me,
right?)
The first things people usually notice about me
I would hope my eyes, I've been told they are pretty penetrating
and a deep blue or green.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Geez, I feel like I haven't seen ANY movies in the last year. The
best ones I've probably seen (in the comfort of my own living room,
that is.) have been A Walk to Remember, American Wedding, anything
West Wing or Grey's Anatomy on DVD. (I'm addicted, I think.) I love
comedies of all kinds, good drama, and the occasional suspense.
However, horror is not up my alley. Unless it's cheeseball horror -
like The Grudge or something. (Which I laughed all the way
through...)
Books - wide open selection, everything from modern politics, which
I'm obsessed with, to cheesy novels. If it's written well, I'll
read it.
Music - same thing. I listen to most everything, but I'll just read
off my iTunes list to give you an idea: AB O'Neill, Adam Merrin,

The six things I could never do without
Hmm, this is getting kind of intense now. 1 - My computer with
internet connection. I have to be able to communicate with friends
all over the country. 2 - My leather bound journal and favorite
pen. Gotta keep working on my writings. 3 - Eight hours of sleep a
night. I miss the days in college when I could sleep 10 hours and
no one cared, now I have to (*shutter*) work. 4 - Decent food. Not
cafeteria-type food, but decent real food. 5 - My music and CD
player. (I listen to everything from rap and R&B to hard rock
to Mindi Adair, and if you know who she is, kudos, and let's talk!)
6 - Last but not least, the students in the club I sponsor at
school. They inspire me everyday to be that much more of a good
teacher.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about making a difference in the
world through my students and the things I can affect, and a lot of
time trying to search through the masses to find the one person who
fits with me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing with friends or heading out to a local jazz club to chill
out. Also you can usually find me at the Mandarin Alehouse sipping
on a beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Um, I'll admit plenty of private things to you if you want to know,
but I'd appreciate a little e-mail love first, lol.
You should message me if
you are interested in chatting. I'm looking for someone witty,
funny, enjoyable, and intelligent for good conversation and
whatever comes up after that. If you are interested, please drop me
a line!
