My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just returned to the UK after a few months spent teaching Italians about poetry and ceilidh, and so although I am looking for a relationship, hopefully I can also build up a social circle in the northwest. Before that I was at university for too many years. At some point I will think of more ways to summarise the essence of my character.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Saving up for expensive plans.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
It's too early in my life for me to be really good at something. Although maybe I'm being modest and/or delusional. I am very useful in a pub quiz though and get quite serious about board games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hm, I need to cut my hair and trim my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love really good sci-fi, with Arthur C Clarke and Brian Aldiss being my favourites. But I'm happy to read anything with good characters and an interesting concept.

My favourite films are '12 Angry Men' and 'Blade Runner'. I also really like Hitchcock films as well as almost everything with James Stewart.

I also love post-apocalypse fiction, and have a real love for stomping around abandoned buildings.

Music... well, it's too broad to define. I like anything soulful that I can empathise with. Folk music is very good, especially from the UK and Sicily. I quite like Joanna Newsom as well. Paolo Conte is also very nice.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
During my life I think I have had to 'do' without all the things that at other times I have thought were indispensable, and have still been perfectly happy. Obviously the people close to me are very important though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Although I love all of these things very much, I generally don't read the favourite books, movies, etc section of people's profiles.

When I was a boy I wanted to be a priest.

You don't need to read extensive essays about the essence of my character to imagine that I might be an interesting person. Really I'm just very slow at filling this profile in.

You like homebrew ale and beards

And also if you actually want to meet up! Talking online is fine for a bit, but I run out of things to say very quickly.
