My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Jesse, and if you used the phrase "nerd" to describe me, it would be pretty accurate. I'm 27 and currently enjoying spending time with my close friends and figuring out where I'm heading in life. I like to strike a balance between very laid back weekends with video games and friends and the random adventure, be it hiking, rafting, zip lining, or anything else that happens to perk my interest. When I'm not doing either of those I'll usually be engrossed in a book, video game or movie. I can appreciate most genres on some level, but I generally enjoy horror, and sci-fi fiction the most. In addition, I'm a big fan of documentaries and I really get a kick out of learning more of how the world works every day.

I've often been described as quite, but that typically lasts only until I'm comfortable around you, and then I come out of my shell. After that it's easy to see how goofy and irreverent my sense of humor can be. I'm light hearted most times, and can see the humor in almost any situation, but I do enjoy intellectual and deep conversations on a range of topics. Expect sports.....please don't try to talk sports with me, it'll go right over my head.

I value my friendships, and truly enjoy making the people in my life happier in any way I can. While I tend to only have a small number of close friends, I'm always interested to hear from anyone who shares a similar desire for stimulating conversation. What qualifies as stimulating conversation for me? Oh anything from philosophy and astrophysics, to comic books and horror movies. You don't even have to particularly agree with me, I love a debate, as it makes you really think about where you stand on a topic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently on a seven year mission to find my zen place by traveling to remote locations by bus.....Ok some or all of that may not be true.

I'm enjoying spending time with those closest to me, and slowly, slowly, preparing to grow up and tackle the next phase phase of my life. What that will be I have no idea, but I'm keeping an eye out for inspiration.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like making people happy, I try to go out of my way to make things even a little better for those closest to me. I'm also quite good at video games, and have an artistic talent that I've never gotten around to exploring fully. After college art classs, the most I tend to do is the random doodle while bored, but I still enjoy it. Oh and climbing trees....I've never met a tree that I didn't want to climb!

My favorite books are going to be anything by Neil Degrassi Tyson, and Stephen King, movies would be too numerous to list. Anything by John Carpenter, Joss Whedon, Sam Raimi. I'm not big on TV shows, but my favorites were House and Lost. Mat Kearney is currently my favorite musician.
