My self-summary
I am a movie lover, amateur photographer, and author of online profiles. Instead of this self-summary is rather submit my bio pic, but Wes Anderson passed on the project.

I am a New Englander who loves snow and the ocean, but I no longer ski and the Atlantic is too cold to swim in; they're really nice to look at though! I have been happily living in Northampton Massachusetts for just over a year now, and love that I have to specify which tea house or vegetarian restaurant my friend should meet me at. It's usually Dobra, they just assume we are meeting at Dobra.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning, photographing, laughing and teaing like its my job.
I’m really good at
Making tea! I mean I am not as intense as I'd want to be, that is I don't own a thermometer and sometimes I forget to time how long it's been steeping.

Photography, both film and digital.

Making people laugh. Remember it's not funny unless you have to explain it!
The first things people usually notice about me
My big brown eyes framed by my even bigger plastic rimmed glasses.
Basically I'm adorable, mothers think so!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
JD Salinger has been a favorite for years, same thing with Italo Calvino. A new interest is Jonathan Safran Foer. I also like Kerouac. I don't read a lot of novels mostly non-fiction, and I am a huge fan of Rawls.

I like quirky character driven movies like Delicatessen, recently saw Beginners, most touching movie I've seen in a while. I will spend an entire day watching Band of Brothers, and contemplating the waste of war, if I'm not stopped by external forces. And while it isn't a movie, I am still going to mention my love for The West Wing.

The Shins, The Decemberists, The Fratellis,Thao with the Get Down Stay Down, Camera Obscura, Kimya Dawson, Mirah, The Beatles, The Dave Matthews Band, Belle and Sebastian, She and Him and the list continues ad infinitum.

I love sushi, and am always up to try something new, if prodded. And tea, Earl Grey, hot.
The six things I could never do without
My vintage tweed, books, good friends, my cameras (there are more than six of them), my music collection, another camera.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Photographic technologies and techniques; Neoliberal economics and its aftermath; where the best tea in Northampton is served (I think Dobra) and what to make for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
In with a book, out at a movie. Oh or sushi!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a favorite punctuation‽
You should message me if
If you think we'd get along. If you like to talk, laugh and sip good tea.
