My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here is the too long didn't read version
- I am a 3D artist and Lead Artist at a small indie video game studio.
- I'm driven by the goals I set for myself.
- I'm very passionate about anything I do.
- I make jokes often.
- I can be very geeky.
- I'm a very giving person.

My name is Joe, I am a 3d artist. I was born and raised in Michigan but went to Savannah Georgia for school. I make video games for a living. I also just like making things, whether it's paintings for around my house, or designing and building a new coffee table. I have a big sense of humor and usually try to make a joke about everything. I am passionate about my work and interests. I'm also a very giving and loyal person, especially to friends and family. I like to cook every now and again. My favorite things to make are Alfredo, Apple Crisp, and home made mac and cheese. I really like watching old bad movies and cracking jokes about them. i.e. SyFy original movies.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am the lead artist/ animator/ level designer at Infinitap Games working on a PC adventure game called "Neverending Nightmares". Basically I over see all the art that is being produced by our art team and make sure our visual style is consistent. I make all the game animations, and build the levels for the game. In the past I was the principle artist, level designer, and animator at 24^ Games working on the Playstation Network game called "Retro/Grade". It was released on PSN in August 2012. I also worked on an iOS game "National Geographic's Dino Land" as an artist and animator. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interactive Design and Game Development. I also try to keep my personal portfolio website up to date with my recent work. Outside of the games industry I have a list of projects I want to get to in my free time, though its constantly changing as I think of new things. If you are interested in seeing my work feel free to ask. I have a cat I rescued named "Commander Rex" or "Rex" for short. He's super adorable and awesome. He's kind of spoiled.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Art, technology, finding the humor in the situation, usually in the form of vulgar jokes. Making a super awesome Alfredo sauce and apple crisp.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor, and how geeky I can be. I also tend to be very blunt from all the time I spend giving and receiving feedback on work. Well I guess that's when they talk to me but before that, it might be how tall and skinny I am.

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Some of my favorite books are Catch 22, East of Eden, Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series.

Some of my favorite movies are Inception, Black Swan, Toy Story, Jurassic Park, Grandma's Boy, Forest Gump, Star Wars (The originals), and Lord of the Rings. I also like most of the marvel films, especially Iron Man and the Avengers.

Also Red Wings hockey.

I recently got into podcasts and youtube channels, so some those include Nerdist, and Geek and Sundry.

Since I work in the industry and I get asked pretty often some of my all time favorite games are Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Dead Space, The Bioshock series, and The Last of Us.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sleep, Snacks, My computer (especially my Wacom "Cintiq" tablet), Goals I set for myself, Soda (preferably Coke), Heat (I am perpetually cold)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Future art projects. Some of my most recently completed projects include paintings for around my house, a new coffee table, and a helmet for a Halloween costume. Where I want to be in 5 years from both a career and personal perspective. When the bills are due, though I tend to pay them early. Whether or not I should get my M.F.A. in my free time. Wishing I had the time to go rock climbing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night I am either doing work for my job, working on portfolio pieces, or hanging out with friends, getting a drink, watching a movie, or playing games (video/board/card) with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be a pretty big geek when it comes to some things, mostly art, technology, and games. I will not hesitate to sing along to a Taylor Swift song if it comes on the radio.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are independent, intelligent, like to laugh and make jokes. Like what you have read and are interested. Know of a modern artist that will change my view on modern art. You think sprinkles are necessary on ice cream and/or donuts.
