My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Dog lover, musician, outdoorsman, etc.

I enjoy fording a whiskey river with exceptional quest companions (friends). As the wording hints, I have a penchant for good RPGs. And good whiskey.

I play the French horn, trumpet, guitar, and am at expert level in finger drumming. Yes, that is a challenge. ;)

I really love backpacking. It's my dream to hike the AT, and one day to hike across Europe. No trains, no bikes, no cars, only this bipedal organism called "me". That being said, I do dig a good road trip.

As with everyone, I'm at a loss as to how to continue. I like the way people write, though I'm no writer. The English language can be so beautiful when utilized to it's fullest capabilities. Fancily written messages get bonus points. I give a fuck about the Oxford comma, lol.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working for a company that makes, and sells, pickled vegetables. I sell as a vendor at farmer's markets around town. Other than that, I like to find a good place for people watching, and a good book. I usually have two, or three, going at any time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Thrift store shopping.
-Finding the silver lining in any situation.
-Reading. More so than books. I'm quite good at it.
-Picking the right music for any situation.
-Fixing things.
-Cooking heartily for a mere $10.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height and pleasant smile. I'm also a slim dude. In "short", I'm the guy that everybody asks to get something from that annoying top shelf in the kitchen/closet. Notice I'm a fan of puns, as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love to read. The more well written, the better. That being said, I have been known to enjoy some poorly written material. I guess I can enjoy a good story more than just good writing. I like sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, biographies, topical nonfiction, and music books. Some favorite authors/writers: Tim O'Brian, Aeschylus, Palahniuk, Thoreau, Murakami, Stephen King, Tolkien, George R. R. Martin, Mary Shelley, Jules Verne, Harper Lee, etc.
I'm currently reading 1) Wind Up Bird Chronicle, 2) Swiss Family Robinson, and 3) Einstein's Theories of Relativity and Gravitation.

I am notorious for not finishing all of the big shows, like HIMYM, Sons of Anarchy, and Breaking Bad. I do love what I've seen of them, though. I enjoyed Arrested Development, Archer, That 70s Show, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, and shows like them.

I love zombie films. Definitely my favorite genre. Some other favorites are Tombstone, Star Wars, Star Trek, Big Lebowski, Anchorman, Pulp Fiction, etc. I like a lot of different movies. Documentaries are fantastic, too.

Being a musician it would be time consuming and inefficient for me to list all that I like. Some favorites are Tom Petty, Pink Martini, Ditty Bops, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Wynton Marsalis, Marie Luise Nuenecker, etc. Suffice it to say that I love a large variety of styles and genres. I'm also a big follower of local music.

Put food in front of me. See what happens. I dare you.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Guitar
-Backpack
-Good friends
-Buck knife
-the Ipod
-Toby (my dog)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-What band should I listen to?
-Who wants to hang out?
-The unfortunate mistake of modern country music.
-Human social interactions. I am fascinated by the way we react to each other.
-Pizza
-Do animals have inner monologues?
-What do you think?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drowning in a whiskey river. Feeling the amber current flowing from my mind. Can you tell I like Willie Nelson (and whiskey)?
The above, or video games with friends, if it's not payday. Usually with beer.
Oft times I find myself spontaneously hopping from one gathering to the next. I like to have fun, duh.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Gwen Stefani- but that's up for debate over drinks.
But seriously don't hate-we all know it's catchy as shit.

You want to discuss music or good reads.

You are boring, predictable, and hate dogs... Hahaha. No.

You can tell me the difference between "Starbuck" and "Starbucks". Nerd points will rain down upon thee.

Also, all the other prerequisites. Like not being crazy or addicted to any drugs (pot is not a drug).
