Hello I am Jonathan. I am a 21 y/o college student who goes to school in the Bronx originally from Queens. Both my parents are immigrants, but I cannot speak Italian or Portuguese.

Right now I am in my last term of my senior year. I want to be a junior high/high school history teacher. I did my student teaching last term and I loved it, my 7th graders melted my heart. If that falls through, I have a government minor to fall back on. I am a political nerd.

1. The Internet: I am an information junkie, I am always on google reader, facebook, and twitter.
2. Sports: I am a diehard Yankee, Jets, and Knicks fan. I am also a fan of the Rangers. I don’t quite get the rules in regards to penalties (icing, boarding, etc...) I’ve been watching for a few years and I still don’t quite get it.
3. T.V.: I love to laugh.
4. Books: I am a history nerd, so books are my friend. I make it a point to read half an hour before bed every night.
5. Friends and family, I may be shy at first but I am a people person.
6. Smartphone: I am always connected and that and my iPod comes in handy when I go out for a run. I love my PodCasts.

Who will run for president in 2016? Why Joba Chamberlin is not a starting pitcher. Who will replace Mark Teixeira? Since it is the offseason who will the Jets pick at #9? Who invented swag? Social Justice issues, LGBT equality, Fair Trade, and spirituality (I love studying religion through the lense of history)

I wrote a parody to Kanye West's Power. I call it Absolute Power. It is about the French Revolution. I preformed slightly tipsy for an education final.
In my senior year of high school I weighed 240 pounds. I dropped down to 148 and now I am under 170. I’m working hard to get in better shape.
