My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i guess i'm going about this a little differently, style-wise, but here's a small stream of consciousness...

me: mountains over beach, tea over coffee, quiet over loud, breakfast over lunch, comedy over horror, local over chain, subtle over overt, pub over bar, drive over fly, wood over metal, walk over drive, quality over quantity. i'd say i'm a little into things local, green and such. i'm looking for someone who thinks an option for a really great day would involve walking until we get lost followed with wine and conversation, until we get lost in that, too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
listening to some good music, eating good food, and carving out my space in the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
analyzing things that don't need to be analyzed, enjoying hot yummy beverages and tasty foods, geeking out about music and technological things, long and winding conversations about undefined topics, and other things. Oh, and jigsaw puzzles.
The first things people usually notice about me

what, and spoil the surprise?

favorite book(s): watership down, diamond age
movie: going to have to go with the princess bride
music: most things that don't hang a twang. lately i've had celtic folk, of monsters and men, and babymetal in heavy rotation.
food: japanese or things that make me happy its winter.
drink: a good cuppa tea or a good cider.
TV show(s): firefly, doctor who, better off ted, white collar, daily show, or whatever netflix has sucked me into. I've been on a big QI kick as of late.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
good music, comfy shoes, fresh air, good food, sunshine for long periods of time, and a good beverage.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
recovering from the week, movies, live music, tea/hot chocolate or dinner with friends. pretty varied, really.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i've got that lactose intolerance thing. its not much, but before someone makes me what i'm sure is a very lovely lasagna...
