My self-summary
A native to Cape Cod, and a successful business owner for the past decade, I have run marathons (7), enjoy entertaining family and friends, gardening, venturing through a corn maze, or taking a bike ride - followed by a game of pool or grabbing some lunch.
I enjoy taking part in seasonal activities and anticipate an early retirement with a soul mate.

I aspire to growing old together with the right person, while eagerly anticipating, doting over, and cherishing moments with grandchildren. I seek an individual that shares an appreciation for education and erudition, yet one that has simple tastes comprising: frolicking and fun. A monolith, whom is not only firm in their convictions of character, but also an individual that is open to compromise. Essentially, a partner that recognizes that a successful relationship requires both: give and take.

Ultimately, I am looking for someone who keeps alive the presbyopic values: common sense and common courtesy. Simple, easy going, tasteful, spirited, positive, and driven -- coupled with the ability to find humor in the varied venues and experiences throughout life.

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–41
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
If you possess a strong sense of humor, and are equally accustomed to being capable of laughing at yourself, as you would be to dropkick the average man / date.

You should NOT possess a penetrating stare, so frightening that it would turn a man to stone, even if he is (or was to be) the hero (Medusa).

In an ideal world, you would be proficient in more than one of the following: chess, vocabulary, a foreign language, board game(s): (e.g. scrabble, monopoly, and cranium), game shows, cards/billiards, Ping-Pong, or sport(s) - wherein your dominance will keep me humble while also teaching me a thing or two along the way.

You should have a great family that you are close with + if necessary you could spend 2-3 weeks with them at any age (While not necessarily optimal - you could make it work).
You should have great friends, whom would sacrifice themselves at a moment’s notice, because they know that you would do the same for them.

I suppose I could go one, but if you have gotten this far: you are probably legit. . . J (7/5/2011)

P.S. / Finally, you should also message me if you are an MVP, and any other sane man would have by now either responded to and/or endeavored to woo you.

I am a bit slow on this web networking + sometime go on “computer/phone/fax - technology fasts” (for extended periods . . . )

For instance, I just figured out the "QuickMatch" e-mail prompts today after . . . two weeks.

Also of note: I HAVE NOT YET figured out what “My Quiver” is all about, nor what I am supposed to do. Thus if you are in my quiver + would like me to mobilize, rescue you, or require sustenance . . . please let me know.

In general, I am open to being – heckled, taught (“via teachable moments”), reality checks, and attempts to enlighten me . . . sometimes it may just takes a few tries to do so online.
