My life is probably the best novel you will ever read. It has joy, miracles, tragedy, mystery, comedy, inspiration and suspense - the book you can't put down... and the next chapter will be a great romance! :-)

I am a widowed mother of two amazing kids and I love every second of it (well, almost - I AM human). I enjoy fine wine and would love to visit wine country some day; being a native of Colorado, I love the outdoors and the beauty it brings. In the warmer months, I ride my bike when I can. I like to take my dogs on mini-adventures and hikes on the weekends...I think of myself as sort of a modern hippy/outdoors/family person, if that makes any sense. I respect life, respect the earth and my children are my first priority.

My friends tell me I am very compassionate and humorous. I love to laugh, (no, I don't have one of those annoying nervous laughs). I'm not afraid to be myself, and I will most definitely speak my mind on matters that are important to me. I'm not a loud-mouth, but I'm no pansey either...and yes, I know how to behave when necessary. :-D

I enjoy my time alone, but at the same time, I am tired of being alone! I would really like to fall in love with a man who wants to explore the next fun part of life with me...someone to share all the good --- and bad --- happenings in life. Someone who respects women and is not afraid to show it. Someone who will listen and share equally...

I'm having a great time learning about life through my two kids. Seriously! I have learned not to take some things too seriously, but to move forward and look for the good from it. I have done the bulk of raising my kids alone, and I think I have done a pretty fantastic job.

I live in the now...I live for this moment. That's not to say I am irresponsible - I take care of things and do what is needed - but if I want to go play outside and the dishes still need to be put away, I opt for playing.

I work in State Government, not my dream job, but it is stable. I am a writer by passion and am working on a book...Ya, I know...aren't we all?..ask me about it!

Laughing...finding the positive twist in things and wriiting. I love to write...I have a blog and I share some pretty deep stuff there. It is a wonderful release for me.

I like to play.

Hmmmm...my nose?? I don't know. I'm usually told that I am a very pretty woman - very kind and funny with cute dimples. I think it depends on what you are "looking" for...then you will either notice it or you won't. That'll make ya think!

I like a variety of mind boggling books and I really love audio books - I often listen to them while on a walk. I love comedy. I absolutely LOVED The Hangover. LIVE music, Jazz...the saxaphone, piano, bass...percussion...dancing, rockabilly, rock, blue grass, - all kinds of music move my soul. Food? I eat pretty healthy, but still love a good burger with an onion. I like to try different things.

Hiking/walks - I want to climb a 14'er
Love - loving and being loved
Art/writing/music - ahhh...these soothe my soul.

Life - no, seriously. I think about the quirkiness of happenstance and how things end up the way they do.

Bwaaa haa haaa!! Oh shut upp!!... NOTHING is typical in my life. Ha! Hmmm...I like to do First Friday on Santa Fe in the summer...happy hour with friends...or go listen to live music somewhere... or stay in and write a blog or watch a movie...Anything goes!

Tee hee heee...ya, right.
