My Self-Summary
I'm a graphic designer. I juggle for fun, and I really like playing
frisbee. I love the mountains, but the beach is great too, though I
get sunburned every time. I sing alto in a choir because harmony is
awesome. My hair changes lengths at my whim.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a graphic designer because it means I get to do art and get
paid for it. I still do a lot of other types of art on the side - I
love making things with my hands. I'm buying my first house, which
is going to be a continuous project for a while. I'm an aunt of
four nephews, who I don't see often enough because they live far
away. I went skydiving in May, and I'm thinking about when I'll get
to do it again.
I’m really good at
juggling, listening, making plans, backrubs, and harmonizing.
Building things, and pretty much any art-type craft (if I don't
already know how to do it, I can learn).
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall, and not particularly graceful. I'm shy until I get to
know someone. But if you meet me in a group of my friends, you'll
think I'm incredibly loud and outgoing.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Mainly sci-fi or fantasy, though I'll read almost
anything.
Movies: The Matrix, Serenity, Love Actually, LotR
Music: I'm pretty eclectic. Guster, Regina Spektor, U2, Carbon Leaf, The Weepies, Cowboy Mouth, Death Cab for Cutie.
Food: A perfectly rare steak. Avocado. Pears. Asparagus. Anything with chocolate.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
random things - word origins, why people are who they are, what I'm
going to cook for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
headed out to a movie, or hanging out with a good book and my cats.
