I am spontaneous, interesting, and humorous.

My Self-Summary

well, i'm a student at UE, finishing my bachelor's degree with 2 last credit hours this fall and then... on to world domination, i guess. i'm pretty outgoing when i'm with friends (i.e. safe from ninja kidnapping ploys) but pretty shy otherwise. i'm a crafter, i like to paint, knit, glue stuff to other stuff and call it art, and i'm quite a fan of glitter. i used to do some ceramics stuff in high school, so i know things about that, but it's been so long and i miss it. i love adventures and i love trying new things, and the best things are worth experiencing repeatedly (take that as you will, i'm pretty oblivious to the innuendo-ish connotations much of what i say can have. except for right now where i'm writing a disclaimer). i love to laugh and ping pong is a great game. also, i have a kitty whose name is tiny kitty and she's kind of retarded but so cute that it doesn't matter.

also, as more of a side note, i have a pretty good boyfriend already, so i guess i'm just still on this site looking for friends and ways to waste some time when i'm bored.

What I’m doing with my life

i have one semester at UE left to finish my BS in biology, and for the next year i will be working as a nanny to two beautiful, wonderful children. botany is my passion, but i'm really good at taking care of other people's kids so that's what i'm doing until i find a career i can live and be happy with. looking into graduate school, finding other work to pay bills and debts, and basically just trying to get by the best way i know how: trying.

I’m really good at

nothing, really. but i'm plain good at a lot of things, like painting, knitting, baking, sleeping, etc... i'm also really good at stretching this stupid profile to 1000 words so i can complete some more percentages of my profile or whatever, but i'm running out of ways to do that, especially since there's no word count on this thing and i don't know which sections count. or what even counts as a word. maybe i could just type out my abc's a few times for filler, or count to 1000 just to be sure. but that's really boring.

The first things people usually notice about me

my eyes because they're behind an awesome pair of green and brown leafy glasses, or my sense of humor. or i just don't get noticed ever.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

i've been reading a lot of Garth Nix books lately, despite the fact that they're young-adult fantasy/fiction. really, that just means i can read more of them faster. i'm also a huge fan of fairy tales. you name it, i've read it, and i probably know a song about it as well. same for a lot of nursery rhymes. singing babies to sleep actually works sometimes so it's good to know a few songs and rhymes for them.

i love silly, old, or badly made movies (most of the time, there are exceptions) especially from the 80s and 90s, and even the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. ok, so that's like all the movies ever, but i'm a weird movie buff.

i like chinese food, and if anyone is ever in my way... well, their fortune isn't going to be coming out of a cookie, if you get my drift.

....

(i don't actually know what i meant by that, but it sounded menacing, no?)

The six things I could never do without

well, i definitely need a liver since i'm of legal age and stuff, and oxygen so that my blood can deliver that life-continuing gaseous substance to the rest of my body. my life would probably be incomplete without books, angiosperms, and chinese food. oh, and giraffes are pretty cool.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

people and worlds that don't even exist, which is pretty sad since i kind of have a lot to be thinking about that's more important, like bills, school, my job, food...

On a typical Friday night I am

hanging out with friends, or being lame and staying at home reading, watching movies, playing lego video games, knitting, or baking. sometimes i go to dinner with people, or out on adventures, which usually consist of loud music, lots of laughter, and a little bit of getting lost, which is made even better because i have a convertible. yeah, that's right, i'm awesome like that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

i kind of hate humanity. it's not them, it's me. and i'm pretty unsympathetic to death. it sounds mean, but really i see death as an escape from pain, especially in the case of old people and incurable debilitating diseases. sure it's sad when someone is snatched out of their prime by drunk drivers and stuff, but that's just another reason to hate humanity. wow, maybe i am just heartless. and don't tell me it would be different if it was someone I knew. i've already dealt with that and my opinion has not changed. i'm just too practical for my own good.

You should message me if

you're bored or think i'm cool. or think i'm bored, and if you're cool. or if we're both bored, and/or cool. or if you go to the library often and like to discuss books.
