I love reading and music, but not at the same time.
Give me anything in the Tolkien/Vonnegut spectrum and you can consider it read. I like to throw in a nonfiction every once in a while too, just to mix it up.

Music - anything from the Beatles and Rolling Stones to Beck and Spoon. Vampire Weekend, Radiohead, My Morning Jacket, Belle and Sebastian, TV on the Radio. I was going to say I have eclectic tastes, but looking at that list, that would be a total lie. Apparently I like indie rock that becomes popular. Lame, moving on...

I listen to podcasts everyday e.g. Radiolab, This American Life, All Songs Considered. Anything NPR puts out. And now Slate has podcasts too, just go to itunes and search for the Panoply Network.

I don't watch much tv, but like(d) Seinfeld, Arrested Development, SNL, the Daily Show and that kind of stuff.
The six things I could never do without
