My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an engineer, photographer, and amateur dessert chef.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I make apps! I make all kinds of apps - apps that book plane tickets, apps that find directions, apps that make sure you don't miss your train, even an online dating app.

It's my dream job. I enjoy creating well-designed things that make people's lives happier, and I'm passionate about the merging of technology and design.

When I'm not making apps I'm using the complete other side of my brain. I'm a street and documentary photographer and I spend way too much time in museums looking for inspiration.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Walking without rhythm.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I always, always have a camera nearby. You never know when you're going to stumble into something interesting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I read mostly non-fiction, and right now I'm really enjoying "Guns, Germs, and Steel". I'm a sucker for the old sci-fi classics like Dune, Snow Crash, and too many others I've forgotten about.

Movie-wise I have a soft spot for popcorny action movies. Nothing unwinds a bad day like a guy flying away from an explosion with a pithy one-liner.

Favorite movies of all time? Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Top Gun, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, anything by Tarantino.

Top shows? Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Star Trek (there's a theme here...)

I'm a sushi snob, I am infatuated with Thai food, though I am about as far from a picky eater as you can get.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A well-made drink.
2. Cameras! I spend a lot of free time walking around hunting for new sights and new stories to tell. Last weekend I walked from 86th St down to the Battery in a single day.
3. A good pair of walking shoes, for the above.
4. Sushi.
6. Superb mathematical ability
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Documentaries. Who has interesting stories to tell that are hiding in plain sight. How to tell these stories photographically.

The future of technology. How it affects our lives, what it means for me, and how I can help do more good than evil with it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wrestling sharks. With lasers.

I'm pretty sure no one on this site has an interesting-sounding answer to this one, so I'm going with sharks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm as tone-deaf as an fencepost. I'd really like to be able to carry a tune but I've never been able to do it in my life.

And that's after playing piano for over 10 years.
