My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Man... I am terrible at this self-summary stuff, which is odd for an English/ Communication major. I have a BA from SUNY Brockport and currently manage online sales (and plenty of other things) for a local gaming store (the non-video variety).

I am definitely about 1/4 giant dork. I think that never losing your love and appreciation for things like cartoons, games, and imagination is very important. In other words, being an adult doesn't always mean never being a kid. I find a good level of geekiness to be very cute and awesome

I'm incredibly laid back and I'm just as comfortable with a night curled up on the couch as I am with going to a movie, concert, or something else (maybe even more so). If you're looking for someone to get shit-faced and go clubbing with, you're out of luck.

The gym is a big part of my life and a big part of my routine at this point. Taking steps to live healthier and change your life is not easy, but it's something I'm striving for. I am a bigger guy though, so if you're looking for Jersey Shore, it's that way ----->

I enjoy games (mostly of the non-video variety, but I do enjoy those too). I'm a music and movie fanatic, and I really appreciate the artistry behind them - I'm a person who will see a movie because of who's directing it as much as what it's about or appreciate the skill of what a musician is doing as well as liking a song. I'm artsy like that. I also love football, but I could take or leave most other sports. I'm a huge Patriots fan, but don't let that fool you - I'm really an alright guy...

Oh, and I am crazy about dogs, particularly the big dumb ones!

That's as self-summarizing as I'm getting. Hopefully some of it makes sense.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to figure it out. It's not working at 100%
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not being an asshole
Finding spelling mistakes no one else cares about
Cuddling....definitely cuddling
Remembering details
Being on time
Being goofy or serious, depending on the situation
Making people laugh
Teaching people things
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My boyish good looks and Puckish charm? I have no idea. You tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Watchmen, The Dark Tower series, H.P. Lovecraft, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), Hamlet, The Tempest

Movies: Way too many to list reasonably. My favorites would be Casablanca, American Beauty, Last of the Mohicans, Aliens, Blade Runner, Star Wars (the good ones), Ghostbusters, The Lion King, Road to Perdition, The Godfather Trilogy, Gangs of New York, A Fish Called Wanda

TV: The West Wing, Sons of Anarchy, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, Deadwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/ Angel/ Firefly, Carnivale, Game of Thrones. And I've recently discovered Doctor Who and I have no idea why I waited this long.

Music: Rush...and then in no order whatsoever: Tool, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Eric Clapton, Jay-Z, Opeth, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eminem, Guns n' Roses, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Heart, John Williams, Johnny Cash, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, about a thousand others. My Itunes list runs deep.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends seem obvious, so let's go with:

Music in the background
Hope (It's not always there, but I couldn't live without it)
Pepper Jack cheese
Hugs...good, full hugs too, not shitty ones
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I should be doing, if everything would just be easier if I was less of a nice guy, who the Patriots should pick up in free agency, and other earth-shattering philosophical questions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the gym, playing games w/ friends, catching a new movie, or just curled up on the couch and unwinding. If something's going on, I'm in!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Keith Urban way more than I feel I should.

You're a thinker, love hugs, try not to be superficial about too much in life, have a love of bad 80's bands, haven't figured everything out yet, or have ever debated the merits of which band was more influential: Sabbath or Zeppelin. If you've ever stopped your car when your favorite song came on and didn't start it again until it was over.
