My daughter means the world to me. I seek those who enjoy children and won't leave me in a situation where I have to decide between being a good father or a good (boy)friend. I believe that children are best raised by a village. I think that, as a society, we make raising children a lot more difficult than it needs to be.
I crave honesty. I'll take candor over tact any day. I think too much, I hope too much, I worry too much, and dream too much. But I like it that way. I seek passion in those around me. I poke at all of the cracks and holes, I rub up against boundaries, I push every button until I find it. Passion is what separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom.
I am an outdoorsy type. I think that life is better lived under the sky. Sunshine is free, and no one sings me to sleep better than the crickets. I enjoy hiking, walking, swimming, camping, finding frogs in the clouds, and gods in the stars.
I'd like to live in the city or in the country and am not too excited about anything in between. Someday I'd like to have a few chickens and a goat or two.
When it comes to those who matter to me and the way I show them affection, I usually speak with my actions first. I take care of people. I always put others first and make sure their needs and wants are met. While I do it freely and without expectation, if I don't feel appreciated and cared for in return I'm generally not very satisfied in a relationship, friendship or otherwise. However, when I do feel cared for I'm overly appreciative and show my affection with words as well.
