My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an easy-going and opinionated person. I can be super analytic about things, which I guess contrasts with my creative drive.

Having been raised a dyed-in-the-wool sarcastic I think you'll find humor is a huge part of my personality, for better or worse. I have way too many inside jokes with friends to count, and will always serve up a healthy serving of wit. I'm one of those people who can recite lines from movies or shows I've seen once. It's a gift and a curse.

I'm a sci-fi nerd, well a nerd about most things. I sort of define it as someone who delves all the way into the details with the things they're passionate about. I like that about myself. Most people would say it's my collection of Star Wars LEGO that makes me a nerd, but I disagree.

Over the past few years I feel like I've taken the biggest steps forward in terms of finding myself socially and personally - that included my first long term relationship. I haven't really been dating much since then, but I'm by no means giving up on the idea.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a manager at a local company and also a photographer and filmmaker. I would like to do more of one and less of the other, but I'll let you guess which.

I've also been making somewhat shaky attempts at getting healthier - I'm pretty out of shape and a bit overweight for no good reason I can think of, and turning that around is on my priority list. Turns out old habits die hard.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...a lot of things. Being a "jack-of-all-trades" is, according to my Grandmother, a genetic gift in my family. If I come across something I don't know how to do I feel instinctively challenged to learn it. As a result I have a large collection of seemingly random skills, although being a jack of all trades means being a master of a select few.

...second-guessing myself. Over-thinking things in general.

...taking care of people. I like entertaining and making people feel like a part of the crowd (as long as I do).
The first things people usually notice about me

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
- a camera
- the ocean (pacific)
- friends & family
- delis (where would I buy sandwiches? did I mention I love sandwiches?)
- my computer (a tool for work, play, creating, learning)
- if you believe the Scientologists, my thetans.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...the universe and my place in it.

...light and how it interacts with the world.

...what I should be doing with my life that I'm not.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
grabbing drinks with friends, shooting the sunset over the ocean, breathing deep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is not safe for internet admitting.
