I am partially, hydrogenated, and defragmented.

My Self-Summary

I find many things amusing, especially things that aren’t. I lived in Berkeley, CA for a decade so I’m fairly granola and liberal, (although I think if I smell Patchouli one more time I will lapse into an instant coma;-) That being said, I’m a pretty serious pragmatist because I’ve now realized just how expensive it is to eat all that organic food (although, you’d think it would be cheaper since there’s less stuff added, unfortunately, like bikinis, less is more.)

What I’m doing with my life

I’m a consultant for a large firm although it doesn’t compare to my all-time favorite job which was working for Candy Kitchens in Ocean City when I was sixteen, but it’ll do. My passion is doing artwork and being creative which I'm slowly starting to find time to do.

I’m really good at

acting like I'm good at something.

The first things people usually notice about me

Well, usually people are pretty struck with my remarkable resemblance to Bar Rafaelli, Giselle Bunchen, Tyra Banks and all...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Love finding new music: I’m liking Amos Lee, Ray LaMontagne and Joe Purdy right now but still love my old favorites, Van Morrison and Tom Waits.
I’m currently reading a book called “The Great Cholesterol Con”- I’m kind of a health-geek, I’m a licensed Massage Therapist and love learning new stuff about wellness.
As for food, I pretty much live on grilled food in the summer with grilled salmon topping my list.
Movies: High Fidelity, Gross Point Blank, Clockwatchers, Waiting for Guffman, The Sweetest Thing, American Beauty, Grand Canyon but Harold and Maude is my all-time favorite.

The six things I could never do without

NPR- Specifically This American Life
Coming in to a steaming hot bath after shoveling the driveway
My IPOD
Netflix (just finished Six Feet Under which I loved)
Doing Art
My awesome friends

(Although what I *could* live without is IM-ing- sorry, I'm not an IM-er!)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

how to start a ponzi scheme

On a typical Friday night I am

Driving home from DC in traffic, nonchalantly probing my friends to see who already has dinner made and on the table.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that I just can't pronounce Blagojevich.

You should message me if

You are dry but not bitter, a practical idealist and have NPR as a pre-set on your car radio.
