My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In the spirit of Full Disclosure:

My favorite thing to do is cook dinner and have a glass wine with friends.

My second favorite thing to do is to go out for dinner.

I'm not going to Burning Man. I was going to lead with this one, but moved it down a couple so I wouldn't start off with something negative. Actually, thinking this through, I like not going to Burning Man, and so this one really isn't a negative to me. But you know how some people get the wrong idea... Actually, I sometimes go to Burner parties and find them entertaining, but no way am I going to the desert in an art car. or, to rephrase: I really enjoy not being in the desert driving an art car. makes me happy :)

I'm also not a hiker, but I will go hiking if there is a picnic with wine at the end.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I also enjoy chilled white wine.

I love to throw dinner parties at my house.

I love to play board games at said dinner parties. Apples to Apples is fun. Cards Against Humanity is funner.

I would describe my diet and the dishes I like to cook as 'meatatarian'.

I have a 5 year old son who means the world to me, and in the spirit of full disclosure, I think I'm good with 1 child, but who knows. My son stays with me half the time and he's the most important person in the world to me.

I'd really like to meet somebody who likes to do similar stuff. It'd be an extra special bonus if you enjoy listening to Lionel Ritchie while doing the above activities.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm just trying to make the music go. I've been working on Pandora radio for the last 9 years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at the following: cooking, horseshoes, espresso making. I am probably one of the top 5 wedding-reception dancers in the world.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get a lot of nice eyelashes. personally, I think they're just ok. I have a theory on this mismatch between my eyelash perception and the number of eyelash compliments: I think the mismatch is related to viewing angle - I always see them straight on while I'm brushing my teeth and shaving, while others typically see them on slight profile. or it could be that they're the only hair on my head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I went through a jd salinger phase as a lad of course, but am more a fan of Hunter Thompson now. I should say that I rarely read books anymore - I do love reading the New Yorker and read it cover to cover each week, which fills up my reading time. I love fried chicken. I also love Willie Nelson, Gillian Welch, Thelonious Monk, and Ryan Adams's Heartbreaker album.

as far as shows go, I have to admit that I allowed myself to get hooked on Walking Dead. I also enjoy Always Sunny in Philadelphia or sometimes a little Archer. As far as tv goes, I strongly believe The Larry Sanders Show was the peak of the art form.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My my cast iron skillet, my espresso machine, my dishwasher
