My self-summary
I'm a native born New Yorker who grew up in the suburbia of Massachusetts, and went to college at Northeastern as a major in Mechanical Engineering but then switched to English. I'm a massive lover of knowledge and beauty in all forms from the sciences, to the arts, to literature. I write poetry, prose(flash fiction & short stories), and essays for fun as well as sometimes read at open mics. I love singing, though I'm only so-so. I enjoy being a nerd, I play a little guitar. I firmly believe in complete equality between all genders, all races (we're all 99.9% the same DNA anyways), and all classes. I feel there is a definite difference between religion and spirituality: religion being more akin to politics, and spirituality more being about what you simply feel. I don't believe in god but I believe people have the right to believe in whatever they want so long it doesn't hurt anyone else and they don't push it on others.

I'm looking for an intelligent and positive girl to connect with on a personal level on hopefully a regular basis. If that happened I would invest my time in building a strong relationship, though I'm a little shy sometimes, but if you drop me signs I warm up a lot. Please feel free to try to get to know me if you think we'd be a good match. :-)

If you want to read more about what my personality is like feel free to check this out because its very close I feel to how I am. http://www.personalitypage.com/html/ENFP_rel.html
What I’m doing with my life
Job hunting for a better job so I can work more, I spend lots of time with two of my best friends, I'm reading a ton of science fiction! I party very frequently but its not something that dominates my life though I do enjoy it without an issue. I'm also trying to upgrade my quality of life,
I’m really good at
Saying honest meaningful things, as well as being blunt when people ask for my honest opinion. Understanding people generally. Knowing way too much about a multitude of things. Remembering stuff. Being polite and well mannered but also standing up for what I believe in. Staying up so late without trying, Being social but also enjoying doing stuff on my own sometimes. Being empathetic and selfless I feel, though really others should be the judge of these qualities rather than me. But you asked.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, without a doubt, but also that I'm pretty nice and often willing to help out people if I can. I'm really earnst/honest/frank with people; I always speak straight from my heart. That I'm fairly chill and laid back kind of person.

The six things I could never do without
Books/my nook, public transportation, a notebook to write in with pen, tools to fix stuff, and education. Oh, that's five, hrm, then my kitties too! :>
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I can do to move my life forward in a beneficial way, what I can do to improve my flaws and what true equality between men and woman is, and how I can improve my understanding and occasional practice of zen buddhism?
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading marathon possibly or more likely hanging out with friends and partying. Always a good time honestly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I do not believe that competing for women is right. People who are interested in you should be interested in you not because of who's fighting over you like animals or treating you like an object by trying to buy their way into your heart with gifts and dinner when you just met. If someone needs to be spoiled without even knowing them first or enjoys seeing others fight over them for pleasure, then that someone is sure as hell not who I want to be with. I believe in getting to know people of any gender as people first, friends second, and lovers/partners third.
