I am easy going and up for most things. I do a lot of trips (both
for work and pleasure) and am game for just about any activity a
friend wants to throw out as a possibility. I love tailgating at
Alabama games, visiting Gulf Shores (which is a double bonus as the
beach is awesome and my parents and twin sister and her family live
there), and try to get outside on a regular basis (mountain biking
at Oak Mountain is a favorite in this category). As for work, I'm
an attorney and work as in-house counsel for a company in
Birmingham. I also am a member of Church of the Highlands and do a
lot of activities with people I know from there.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm mainly working hard to get ahead in my career, staying involved
with church, hanging out with friends, getting at least a little
time in with my family, and trying to meet someone special.
I’m really good at
listening, being there for friends, cheering you up if you need it
and helping you celebrate when things are going well.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm friendly and love talking to anyone!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read constantly and enjoy a lot of different genres. I'm
currently reading Cleopatra by M. Schiff, WHO: the A Method for
Hiring, Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott and an assortment of
romance novels and popular suspense novels. I also like all kinds
of movies. I just saw Safe House and enjoyed it a lot. I listen to
country, alternative, pop and christian music. I like most kinds of
foods (but I'm not big on sushi although I love good sashimi). I
love Mexican and Indian food.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Family, friends, work, God, upcoming activities and trips ...all
the normal stuff!
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends doing the usual stuff (dinner, movie, live music,
hanging out at someone's house, etc.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wrote a romance novel and sold it through an online publisher.
Don't laugh - I made $200! We'll ignore the fact that when
calculated against the many hours it took to complete this
masterpiece, I ended up making like $1/hour.
