I am Quirky, Driven, and Hilarious.

My Self-Summary

I moved to St. Paul in the beginning of August with no promise of a job even after a 6 month search which started way before I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Biology from UWGB. It turns out that without proper lab experience that I was not qualified for lab technician jobs and overqualied for lab assistant jobs.

Don't worry, I did find a job at the beginning of September and am glad my brother was so nice and able to lend me the cash for rent until then. I moved here basically to go back to school for Veterinary Technology and am looking into working at a zoo/wildlife facility. Ideally I would like a vet tech job where I can also utilize my aptitude for lab work and work with otters :-) I love animals and had worked at a wildlife sanctuary while I was at UWGB, which I really miss.

I also used to be the president of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance at UW-Green Bay and loved being involved in making campus better for LGBTQ students and their allies.

I like: music, camping, cuddling, movies, parks, picnics, nature, walking, sunsets, hangin out with friends, bowling, frolfing, love songs, adventure, road trips, animals, and am a big fan of Ellis and Sick of Sarah. I am always up to new music and movie nights.

I am looking for someone that enjoys some of the same things I enjoy and can hold a conversation. I would really like someone to explore the cities with and who has an idea of what they want to do with their life. Someone to go see live music shows with me would be amazing. I am always open to new friends and if something develops after that then all the better.

What I’m doing with my life

Like I said earlier, I relocated to St. Paul to pursue my passion for animal related work. I want to work with wildlife and posibly educate the public on the importance of conservation and ecological sustainability.

I currently work at Chuck and Dons Pet Food Outlet in Roseville and like helping people decided on the right pet food. Pet nutriton and dental care is important to have a healthy pet. I hope to get a zoo/animal clinic job for my last year of vet tech classes. I realize the importance of having done related work relating to my ideal job.

I also like advocating for the LGBT community and would like to get more involved in the twin cities area. I was the president of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance at UWGB for two years and miss being so involved.

I’m really good at

I am really good at knowing random facts and making people laugh. I am also capable of some home improvement tasks. I am good with power tools and have done some minor car repair. I also good at lifting heavy objects and am an above average bowler. I have been told I am good at foot massages and a good cuddler.

The first things people usually notice about me

Not really sure...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Am I Blue?, A Handmaid's Tale, Brave New World, Ellen.... I really don't read books very often.

Movies: She's the Man, Imagine Me & You, If Walls Could Talk 2, RENT, Along Came Polly, Finding Nemo, Boys Don't Cry, Freedom Writers, Pay it Forward, Selena, Homeward Bound, Jeepers Creepers, House of Wax, the Saw movies, Iron Jawed Angels, Better than Chocolate, and most gay movies. I like lots of movies but those are some favorites.

Music: Ellis, Sick of Sarah, Chris Pureka, Sara Barielles, Pink, Rascal Flatts, the Wreckers, Tracy Chapman, Jim Brickman, Briana Lane, Kings of Leon, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, KD Lang, Juanes, All 4 One, Savage Garden, Paramore, Andrea Gibson (slam poetry)... I love music and this is just a small portion of what I like to listen to. I am not really into hard rock or any Screamo stuff.

Food: I'm not picky and will try most things once. I love pasta, burritos, potatoes, and toast.

The six things I could never do without

Family
Friends
Music
Animals
Money (enough for basics)
Cuddling or some other time of affection (its hard not having that)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

future career, girls, if I will ever find someone that appreciates my kind heart, school, getting finances sorted out, why people think gay people shouldn't get married, why some people ask rediculous questions in class, ecological sustainability, problems associated with overpopulation, defying gender roles, pet food (related to my job), what other people are thinking, drag, music... lots of other random things

On a typical Friday night I am

lately it is either working or watching tv with my roommate... I would like to get out more.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like wearing flannel :-)

You should message me if
