I am inquisitive, inspired, and dedicated.

My Self-Summary

I love the company of friends and family. It is easy to fall out of touch with good friends, and it's important to make time to get together with them, despite a hectic life. In the end, we will reminisce about important moments we spend with special people in our lives, not incidental worries we may have had.

I have found that I am still developing myself. It's important to do that, otherwise life will become stale and repetitious. Hopefully this doesn't involve radical change, but gradual change toward being a better person. I would consider myself kind and independent, but also shy and serious. I like to have fun, but am picky about the type of people with whom I choose to open up.

What I’m doing with my life

Software engineer during the day, videographer/editor on my free time, I usually have some side projects going. Whether helping out with a short film, editing a video for Habitat for Humanity, a video for the National Park service or a documentary about firefighters, I'm always looking for new and exciting projects to work on.

I’m really good at

*Cooking
*Shooting and editing video
*Being supportive of friends

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Truthfully, I'm more of a do-er than a reader, but when I get a chance to read a book I enjoy it immensely. Some books I have read recently: Snow Crash, Where Elephants Weep, In the Blink of An Eye.

Movies: Donnie Darko, Mulholland Drive, Rear Window, Sunset Boulevard, Fatal Attraction, The Sixth Sense

Food: Chinese: Clams and black bean sauce, Cantonese style lobster, sticky rice in lotus leaf

The six things I could never do without

* Dignity
* Encouraging friends
* Passion for at least one thing in life
* Rich sensory experience
* Ability to affect others by one's presence
* Self-awareness

I spend a lot of time thinking about

...where I am. Where will I go next? I'm always on the lookout for a new positive twist or turn in my life. It could be a new person or a new activity.

...what I can do to experience life in a more fulfilling way. It's important never to become stagnant. One should do what it takes to enjoy his or her life.

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't have a "typical" Friday night. Sometimes I am at a party at a friend's house. I may be working on a video project. I could be watching a movie. There is really nothing special about a Friday night-it's possible to have interesting experiences on other days as well!
