My self-summary
I'm equal parts creative thinker and analytical problem solver. I'd feel just as comfortable working in the arts as I would in a science related field. I don't often meet people quite like me in this regard. I currently work in the Information Technology field solving problems, but have a degree in music composition...go figure.

So why am I here? I do stay quite busy working full time, and I am also in the process of starting a custom guitar building business...among other business ventures/hobbies I have on the back burner. So while time is in short supply, I still make time for others.

That said, even if I wasn't busy, the opportunity to meet new people you may never encounter in day to day life fascinates me.

I plan on experiencing all the world has to offer. I hope to make an impact on those around me. I plan to leave behind a legacy that will live on long after I'm gone. I've seen far too many people give up on their hopes and dream only to try to pass them along to their children. I'm not that type of person.

I often have lofty goals, but why bother otherwise?

I'm a laid back person that loves an occasional dose of chaos. I love good stories, because without them the world would be a pretty dull place. I like nature and the outdoors and would generally be more happy if winter didn't exist....though snow is cool on occasion. I really miss snow days.
What I’m doing with my life
Saving money and biding my time. I enjoy the work that I do now, but the things I will create in the future are what excite me.

Anyway, when work isn't busy getting in the way of my hobbies I:
-Build guitars (I play guitar as well)
-Write music
-Make HDR photos
-Build machines that help me build guitars
-Eat chocolate

I'm also learning how to become a great storyteller and hope to dive head first into illustration and animation soon.

There is far more, but a text box will never sum up a person's life very well. What would be the fun in me telling you everything anyway?
I’m really good at
The process of taking something from an abstract idea that exists only in your mind and turning it into a tangible piece of reality, is something that never ceases to amaze me. I'm not so sure I'm "really good at" it, but that's what I'm working toward.

Chances are I'm more than capable of fixing your computer problems though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV: LOST, Supernatural, The Mentalist, Paranormal Witness.

Comedy: Ralphie May.

I love great storytelling of all types, regardless of how the story is conveyed. It bothers me when people say cartoons are only for kids.

I generally think all food should be spicy....

Thai food is my favorite. But I love so many different types of food: Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Southern food (Thelma's Chicken and know if you've been there), etc.

I really love a craft beer. Breweries I like: Sweetwater, Abita, Troegs, Highland, Dogfish Head, Saranac, and basically everything else that's nearly impossible to find in Virginia. Wells Banana bread beer was the latest discovery that I really enjoyed.
The six things I could never do without

....I guess specificity didn't make the list, did it?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-How to take over the world.
-Why we haven't been to Mars yet, or even sent a probe to Europa.
-Cadbury Cream Eggs.

In reality I've been reading a lot about the nature of human consciousness and how technology is changing the course of humanity. Will it one day be possible to completely digitize human consciousness? Will nanotechnology allow us to create anything we need by arranging the atoms necessary for an object? Will we one day no longer be an organic species? I could go on for days.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes there is a nap involved after work. Sometimes I try to get involved in some mayhem. Other times I may work on a project until the wee hours of the morning.

Overall, I'm fairly open minded. Show me what the world has to offer. Otherwise....I'll show you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I didn't learn how to whistle or snap until way after most of my peers did. I'm sometimes a late bloomer, but usually make up for lost time by being a very fast learner.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
-You can't remember the last time you were "bored".
-You're a creative person. (This really isn't essential, but it's nice to meet like minded people)
-You can hold a conversation.

For that matter, if you consider yourself an interesting person and are passionate about something...anything. If you have drive and motivation, I really respect that.
