I am a divorced, single mom looking for a man that I can be friends with first and then possibly develop something more. I am a confident, intelligent, honest, warm, easy-going, attractive person. I have shoulder-length, layered, naturally wavy, dark brown hair and brown eyes. I am looking for a kind, romantic, intelligent, attractive (something that is totally subjective by the way!) man that has some interests in common with me, but also has his own life. I believe partners don’t need to do everything together. I want someone that isn’t into mind games. I need a person who will accept my 2 young daughters and understand that they are a major part of my life. I am very spiritual and believe in a higher power, but not very religious as I do not believe that any 1 religion or god has the answer to it all. I don't believe in judging others for their beliefs and believe that so many issues could be better solved if more people had open minds. I teach and I am a mom. Besides spending time with my girls, I also like to garden, read, go for walks, go to the beach, watch tv, watch sports, listen to music, work on scrapbooks, photography, play card and board games. . . . Monterey Aquarium is one of my favorite places.

Books: Mostly fiction, Grisham, Anne Perry, Sue Grafton, Nicholas Sparks, Pablo Neruda, Jane Austen, Willa Cather, Harry Potter

Music: Most kinds but most rap and heavy metal. I like country that has a real pop sound to it.

Food: Real Mexican, Thai, American, Chinese, fancy and casual, dives and nice restaurants, as well as home-cooked

Movies: Inside Man, How to Train a Dragon, The Usual Suspects, The Shawshank Redemption, Fried Green Tomatoes, Fly Away Home, Waking Ned Devine, A Walk in the Clouds, To Kill a Mockingbird, Nim's Island. . . My taste is pretty diverse!
