My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd like to meet new people, have interesting conversations and just see what happens! I have a bit of a travelling addiction and try to go somewhere new and exciting as often as I can. I love to socialise in pubs and bars with friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Born and raised in London where I've been training to be an actuary in the city for the past four years or so. I'll forgive you for not knowing what that is, most people don't!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting lost despite having a map (my iPhone helps me to hide that fact quite nicely though!); solving problems; organising fun trips away; avoiding the gym; singing (badly) in the shower; having geeky bits of knowledge and pointless facts in my head (might come in useful some day if I'm ever on a gameshow, but pub quizzes will do for now!); being a shoulder to cry on but also at times being brutally honest if necessary (assuming that I can tell which is more appropriate!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I have a mischievously wicked laugh
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Pride and Prejudice, the Curious Incident of the Dog In the Nighttime... I'm currently reading Stephen Fry's biography, he's certainly led a colourful life!

Movies - Good Will Hunting, Amelie, Inception, The Black Swan, Shutter Island, Pretty Woman...I like movies that make you think, bar the last one which gives away my weakness for chick flicks!

TV - House, Grey's Anatony, Sex and the City, The Vampire Diaries, The Inbetweeners, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Will & Grace, The Big Bang Theory

Music - Coldplay, U2, Maroon 5, Queen, Adele, Sam Smith, James Morisson, I'm also a sucker for eighties music!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from the obvious, I'd have to say:
living in a big city with everything on my doorstep (but also being able to get away once in a while and go exploring); surprises; last minute plans that turn into the most memorable nights; great debates; going to interesting restaurants and bars that I've never heard of before; feeling challenged on a regular basis...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...where all the decent men in London are hiding - message me if you have any idea!

Update: I realise that this invites various versions of "you can stop looking right now, you've found one..." I suppose I asked for that really, but isn't being humble a pretty decent quality too? :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...most likely socialising with a glass of wine in my hand after a gruelling week at work!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate to lose, and will continue to try and argue my way out of something even when I know I'm wrong!
