I've been on a Burma related non-profit binge for the last few years, first in Thailand, now in NYC.

*in Asia till July, so I may have a poor response time.

On the side I indulge in cynicism and developmental econ blogs. Also cooking for housemates and friends, and, on occasion, raging like a rock-star.

Cooking lavish meals for friends at 3am, Balderdash, whistling, and Donald Duck impressions. Also, bringing the silly.

After commenting on my red beard, they usually tell me I'm a good listener and ask me if I'm a woodsman. I'm not. But I'm always up for getting out of the city and sharing a meal under some trees.

The Apartment, Manhattan, Awara, Jules and Jim, Down By Law, Black Narcissus, The Miracle of Morgan's Creek, How Green was My Valley, Ivan's Childhood, Wild Zero, Buckaroo Banzai, Prehysteria ( + sequels), Monsters Inc. (with my nieces), Magic Mike, and anything Michael Bay related.

TV:
I wish I could say Battlestar Galactica, but it's Mad Men, Louie, and Game of Thrones these days.

If I don't find a wife in three months I will be cut off from my billionaire great aunt's inheritance, thereby forfeiting the tremendous wealth to which I have become accustomed.
