"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here..."

I'm currently a student in college working on my Bachelor's degree. I'm from the Great White North of Minnesota and am pretty proud of it. For my money there is nowhere else I'd rather be in the summer than by a lake shore with a light breeze going through the pines. (Honey Boo Boo can probably wax poetic better than me, so this will be the hardest you'll see me try.) I love sports, music, and movies. Yes, I know that's stupidly generic, but you got to have some new things to reveal in conversation, right? Can't throw it all out there on the first go.

I admit I don't read much, but it's not from a lack of want, I just find it difficult to set aside time for it. I sing literally all day, every day-it's what gets me up in the morning.

It's worth mentioning somewhere on here that I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE baseball fan. I spent a month on the road visiting a dozen baseball stadiums. Worth every penny.

3rd year music-major, former barista (looking for a new job), singer in too many choirs to count, and, last but not least, a member of a fraternity on campus.

Oh geez...can I just say things that I like to do instead? I'm not good at being my own hype man.

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but it's a start: I love to sing and make music, watch silly Youtube videos, consume sweet potato fries and deviled eggs with EXTREME prejudice, listen to people complain/vent/joke around, shoot hoops, get a little crazy from time to time with my friends, walk along railroad lines and through woods, and drive to locations unknown just for the hell of it.

I love to travel and hate that I can't do it more often. I've been to Europe twice and am itching to go back. If money were no object...

My wandering eyes...yes I can control them, but if I zone out they un-focus and I look ridiculous. I've come to accept it as a neat little parlor trick!

I love movies so much it's stupid. Coen Brothers, Quinten Tarentino, Pixar (some Dreamworks, too), Spielberg, Ron Howard, and a bevvy of dumb comedies and indie flicks.

My favorite band is Queen, beyond a shadow of a doubt. I love a ton of different bands and genres, though: Temper Trap, Kendrick Lamar, Gotye, Ben Rector, Matt Kearney, Mumford, Sufjan Stevens, all the clssic rock you can shake a stick at, classical music (the three Bs mostly, but I'm learning to love other composers) tons of other hip-hop (Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Wu Tang Clan, Run DMC, Snoop Dogg, the Regulators) just to name a few.

Mexican food is too delicious for words, but then again so is Italian, and Korean, and Mongolian, and Thai, and even a damn Spicy Chicken sandwich from Wendy's. God I love food.

I don't know if I have a favorite book, but I'm a big fan of non-fiction. A good amount of those classics we all had to read in high school have stuck with me as well.

I try and watch a lot of those "witty" comedy shows like the Office, 30 Rock, etc. but I also enjoy the occasional drama like Law and Order: SVU. Sometimes I like to pick a radnom series on Netflix and see what happens.

3. Making music with other people.
4. My fraternity brothers. (We're not as bad as people might think, pinky swear!)
5. My family.
6. Oh, and I guess food and water and the like.

Music (noticing a theme?), life post-college, what I have to do the next day. Random stuff here and there really.

Watching dance instructional videos on youtube. I've always wanted to learn how to dance, and I think I'm making some real headway. I'm almost to the level of "Club-can't-even-handle-me-right-now"

I once burned off half of my right eyebrow making Ramen one summer during high school. ("Graceful" would be the absolute last word to describe my adolescence.)

you are interested in doing anything from finding new platonic friends to a one-time hook up to spending the rest of your life with someone, and all the stuff in between. I honestly am on this site with no pretense- just trying to take in all the experiences I can. I'd love to get to know you!
