My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I laugh often and smile more. I will do anything for a friend and have been known to drive an hour out of my way to make their life easier. I work hard at what I do and was given an opportunity to help open an office for my company in NYC last year, it was one of the most important experiences of my life. I’m an experience over possessions person and would rather spend my money on gaining a new story than the next iPhone.

I love a challenge and make sure that every day I try or do something new. I’ve been to a rodeo, monster truck rally and even snowboarding. Not all things I’ve enjoyed or will do again but at least I know what it’s like. I’ve completed two half marathons in my life and have now spent my time getting into weight lifting more seriously. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and eat as well as I possibly can.

My friends would describe me as loyal, good hearted and funny. I can make anyone laugh and feel comfortable in just about any situation you can put me in. I’m not a big talker but I love to listen and my honesty in advice has always been appreciated by those that seek it out. I’m a people pleaser who wants the best in life for not only those around me but also myself. I love meeting new people and learning where they came from. I’m an open book so feel free to learn more, I know it’ll be interesting.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently moved back to the area after a year in NYC for work. After managing a team of advisors I was given the opportunity to return to Philly, which I jumped at since I love everything about this city. I'm currently a financial advisor for ING and it's a passion I didn't expect out of college. Being able to help people accomplish their financial goals has been very rewarding. It's not just a job for me, it's my career and something I expect to do for a long, long time.

I also love to travel, socialize and maintain the relationships I currently have in my life. Also, I'm a bit of an adrenaline junky and I've yet to go skydiving so that's something I want to do in the near future, and if you've already been let me know what you thought. I've yet to hear complaints but it's always fun to hear different perspectives.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Music has been a huge part of my life. I've played piano since I was 4 and guitar since I was 13 so I'm constantly trying to improve and learn new types of music.

Cooking! It's a passion of mine and I'm always happy to try out new ideas. From a delicious steak, asian, mexican and just about anything in between. But of course my specialty is all types of breakfast foods (who doesn't like breakfast any time of day?).

Peeling an orange in one shot, listening, cracking jokes and finding the positives in any situation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually it's my green eyes or smile but once you get to know me it's my extremely sarcastic and funny nature that tends to hold everyone's attention. I've had more people than I can count say I'm one of the funniest people they've met so I guess comedy is a big part of who I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Calvin and Hobbes - This was my childhood in a nut shell. I loved and still do love reading these comics and it's only gotten better as I've gotten older.
7 Habits of Highly Successful People - A great book to motivate you in all aspects of life, I recommend this to anyone who feels they're in a rut.
The Great Gatsby - A classic that I can always pick up and enjoy. Highschool english wasn't always awful.

Movies: Wedding Crashers which is still to this day one of the funniest movies I've seen.
UP is my favorite Pixar movie by far for its awesome use of balloons plus Dug is definitely every lab I've ever run into.
The Lord of the Rings is pure nostalgia for me since it came out when I was in highschool and reminds me of all the times my friends got together to see the premieres, still my absolute favorite movie ever. There are definitely more but we'll go with those three for now.

TV Shows: Arrested Development - The funniest show I've ever watched. I will catch something new with every rewatch and I tell everyone to give it a shot.
Breaking Bad - Who knew Malcolm in the Middle's Dad sold meth so well? Anything on AMC is worth giving a shot.
The Simpsons - My all time favorite show that I can watch at any point in my day. It was my favorite show as a child and will probably remain that way til I'm old and yelling at kids to get off my property.

Music: Incubus - If I'm ever listening to the radio and flipping through stations and an Incubus song comes on, I stop.
Gogol Bordello - A fun band that put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen, I've never been so tired and excited at one time.
Queen - A band my dad loved that quickly became one of my favorites.

Food: I'm not a picky eater at all. My friends and I are also talking about doing some type of Man V Food tour but we'll see if that comes to fruition.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Putting on clothes immediately after coming out of the dryer (bonus points if you can get into a bed with freshly dried sheets)
Hockey, football is great but I've converted a lot of people to this Canadian sport and could get you into it too
Exercise and the stress relief that it brings
Animals, I love them all and couldn't imagine going through life without one
A joke that makes you laugh so hard you snort
Day trips to the beach or an amusement park
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work stuff, what would make an awesome dinner, why people feel turn signals are an option, when will places replace all those terrible old hand dryers with the ones made from jet engines, what's goin on in space (seriously, it's insane how much crazy stuff happens up there)

Who would win in a fight, a grilled cheese sandwich or a taco?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out enjoying some good company and getting into some type of adventure. Other nights I'll just stay in and watch a movie or read a book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still enjoy building pillow and blanket forts, if you have some supplies you're more than welcome to join me in expanding forts

I once watched my Uber driver get arrested and had to walk home instead

I immigrated here when I was 3, feel free to guess the country
