Born and raised new yorker who loves to be sarcastic and talk with
intelligent people, laugh, go out to good restaurants and bars,
watch great tv, watch and play sports... I try to get away every
weekend whether that's somewhere in NJ, Long Island, Fire Island,
something much further away, and if none of those then then a
I've lived in the city my whole life other than college, which was
in the Midwest. Love the Yankees and Jets, and can't stand Boston
fans... or Miami fans, now (friendly rivalries are fun of course if
You are the Boston fan). I'm generally fanatical about baseball and
football, in a good way. Can't seem to care about hockey. Does
anyone really like hockey? Trying my very best with soccer...
I just found a great new apartment and moving in a week to a new
neighborhood - very excited. It's always been important to me to
get to know local people around my neighborhood, and this will be
I love cats and dogs both, but cats a little bit more than dogs -
can't blame me, I grew up with them.
What I’m doing with my life
I try to do something each night (meet a friend, go to the gym, try
a new restaurant, solve crimes, save a kitten, conquer the world,
whatever is going on).
I work in investment banking and have been since I graduated
college. I like to think I'm on the more interesting side of the
business - I work in project finance, which means building
renewable energy plants and new city structures like like bridges,
subways and hospitals, all around the world. I spin it like its
charity but its not ;).
I’m really good at
Hmm... talking with people, including strangers. Like I said,
saving kittens and solve crimes. What else am I good at... reading
people and learning about them. And also learning from my mistakes
too - definitely won't be bike riding at night again any time soon!
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am usually always smiling, often with a big grin that makes
my eyes get really small
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hmm I read a lot of magazines and non-fiction books, except also
all the hot buzz books like all the Dan Brown thrillers. I read
half of Hunger Games and liked it a lot but was disappointed by the
movie. Best movies are ones that make you think, like Another
Earth, no one has seen that and its great.
Food - My friends will tell you I'm an Asian person trapped in a
foreign body because I love Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai,
Vietnamese, Indian, etc. The spicier the better...
Music - Love lots of different types of music. Need to get out to
more concerts now that I think about it!
I watch more TV than do any of the other things in this question...
I love The Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, Parks &
Recreation, Arrested Development, also Game of Thrones, Homeland,
Borgias and 60 Minutes, Anderson Cooper, random things on natural
geographic, history and and the discovery channels.
The six things I could never do without
1. My parents and friends
2. Gchat at work
3. A basketball
4. A rooftop
5. An ice maker
6. Shiracha sauce
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, but mostly about the next five minutes. Why people act
the way they do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Celebrating that it is Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like watching cute animal videos on youtube.
You should message me if
You live around the NY area and are interested in talking a bit.
