My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an honest and deep and I am hopeful/hopeless romantic. I absolutely love Tucson and my favorite holidays are St Patties and the Day of the Dead.

I am a song writer and I am working on writing a creative non-fiction book when I have free time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a computer networking consultant by day and a college professor by night (Computers and Rhetotocal Writing). I pretty much turn any course I teach into a philosophy class which I am pretty sure is why I am in popular demand with my students.

I also play the ukulele and guitar as we as sing in a couple of bands (one is folk rock and the other New Orleans based Jazz/Funk) in the Tucson area. I considering my voice to be my main instrument.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Enjoying the world around me
- Song writing
- Singing (I am actually pretty good at it)
- Coming up with creative ways to explain complicated concepts
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
What people usually notice: I am happy, genuine, big and have a red goatee
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I listen to a lot of genres of music but to name a few I listen to a lot lately: Nina Simone, LCD Soundsystem, Neko Case, Washed Out, Leonard Cohen, the Roots, and music from the 1930s. I have been listening to a lot of Nick Cave lately too.

I also listen to a lot of old school Cuban music - I guess I just have a weird connection with Cuba for some reason but I have never been there.

My favorite song is Marley's "Waiting in Vain"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, my ukulele, pen & paper, my phone (hate to admit that), Mexican food and affection
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about my goals for this year:
- Writing a book about learning theory
- Creating a CD that features songs about heartbreak played on the ukulele
- If I am going to meet someone here
- I think A LOT about the usage of fonts
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On Fourth Avenue somewhere checking out live music and just floating place to place
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an honest person and have a habit of assuming everyone else is as well (which has burned me on occasions)

The cat and mouse structure of OKcupid is exhausting and I really don't like it when someone says they want to be impressed in any messages they get. If you have any interest - just say hi and we can go from there if there is anywhere for us to go :)

I am heavily drawn to smart, creative, and confident women and have a strong attraction to musicians, artists and those engaged in education.

Note: I am married but it is complicated. I can explain if you are interested - even if you are just curious :)
